What is the cheapest way for two adults to go from LAX to DL and back? Also, for those of you who have done this what have your experiences been and how long does it usually take?

Cheapest is probably the Disney express bus- www.airportbus.com You can find rates and schedules on the site. Sometimes you can find discount coupons as well.

Another option would be www.supershuttle.com

Personally, of the two I would choose supershuttle. We used the bus a couple times a few years ago. They hold a lot of people and sometimes have to make a lot of hotel stops. Super shuttle holds 7 people, so you will probably share with someone, and might have to make a couple spots, but not nearly as many as the bus!

I just dealt with LAX in December and got a great deal on a car rental through priceline. We were able to get an intermediate size car for $14 a day, it was just a bit over the shuttle prices and nice to be able to be able to stop by a store for supplies or run errands if we needed to. Priceline only uses like the top 5 rental agencies at LAX and they saved me about $50 compared to the other travel sites.

Just a thought!

Maybe since our possible trip is months away (June) the rates seemed insanely high - over $300. SO I will have to go with a shuttle - seems that super shuttle would be $15 each per way - $60 total? (PLEASE someone correct me if I am wrong).

Does anyone know how much a cab would be from LAX to DL???

I'd go with the Disneyland Express (airport bus) over Super Shuttle. Super shuttle likes to run full and it services all over the place and I've gone around in residential areas and even to the Long Beach airport before reaching my destination. It took like 2 hrs or so between hotel & airport.

Disneyland Express just services the hotels around Disneyland. It takes about 1 hr from LAX to hotel. They stop at a ticketing place near Disneyland to collect fare and then drop off at hotels, starting with the Disney owned ones. I believe round trip is $28 and here's a link for a $3 coupon. You don't have to have a reservation, just collect your bags and then go stand under the buses sign, I think it is the green one and wait for the next bus.

If you chooose supper shuttle go to the anahiem/oc website to get a coupon for $2 off a one way ticket pp (can be combined for $4 off RT PP). I have never had a problem with them and it has never taken more than a hour to get to my hotel (last time only took 45 mins). I guess I have gotten lucky.

Go to www.anaheimoc.org/visitors

look under specials-->coupons/discounts-->transportation

The coupon has a experation date of 2-1-07 but it is worth looking into closer to your trip.
