Good First Night Hotel?

I am thinking about staying at a nearby hotel for our first night and then moving to on-site the next morning. What do you recommend? We would like to not be too far so getting to the resort in the morning won't be too much of a pain. . .

I really like the Tropicana. Its right at the crosswalk (about five minutes or less to the turnstiles of DL/DCA) so its a great location. It has a fairly nice pool area and large spa. The rooms have been recently redone and it was super clean when we stayed there last year. For a short stay I think its great.
