Shamu Breakfast at SW

Hi just to let everyone know SW appear to be offering a breakfast with Shamu similar to dinner, its only at weekends and can be booked online till end of Febuary

That's right, and it's already been going on. We enjoyed it very much. It's a lot better than the old character breakfast.

Can you explain what the breakfast is about? My DH just said last night that while we are at WDW at end of August that he wants to do SW for a day. That was great news for my DS's and I. We used to go every year to the SW that was in Cleveland and needless to say for the last few years we have been in SW withdrawal. The Shamu breakfast or dinner sounds interesting but would like to know about it. Any help in planning for a day trip would be helpful. Thanks.:)

Hi if you look on the SW website you will find more details, I have no personal experience to share sorry, the breakfast is a new thing dinner has been around now for a while

I'd love to hear some personal experiences about this meal too. My DD15 is a killer whale lover and I would love to surprise her with this meal, but only if you get a chance to see killer whales and possibly get info about them.

My DD and I did Shamu dinner when we were there Oct 2006. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed. The orca wasn't there for very long and there wasn't any one on one interaction. The best you could do was go talk to the trainer after the dinner. The food was okay - buffet style though they brought drinks to the table. We much preferred our character b'fast that morning; would be sorry to see that go. Lots of character interaction and they did a little show for you too. We got to see them dressed up in Halloween costumes too since it was a Spooktacular day when we were there.
