Does anyone know of a cheap, clean airport hotel near Pearson (with a shuttle to the airport)? I hate to pay high rates when we have to leave at 3 a.m. to catch our flight!!

I would check with a Travel agent...they often know of special stop over rates. Last time we did it that way, we stayed at the Delta. The cost of the hotel includes your parking for the length of your trip. I know on deltas website now the price is near $200, but I think a TA would know of a better deal. For $200, it would be cheaper to go to the Park and Fly.
We are currently debating which route to go....our flight doesnt depart 'til 10:15 am though, so we technically could drive to the airport that morning. Then Im worried that there will be a problem with weather, or our van....what to do? what to do?...:)

Try looking into The Best Western when I priced hotels last year that seemed to be the cheapest deal going it's at Dixon and Atwell (401). I believe the actual address for the hotel is on Carlson Court.
We used Park and Fly last Feb. for our vacation I would never use them again in the winter. We waited for a least a good 30 mins. for the shuttle to come. We hadn't brough our winter coats with us and where freezing ( stupid move on our part). When a bus finally arrived they had sent a small one that was already half full. Everyone pushed ahead of us. The next bus that came filled preatty quickly as well so I sent my DH with DD and I stayed with the luggage. The plan was for hubby to get car and come back for me. I was left waiting for at least another 45 min.s because there had been at least two major snowfalls and the car was frozen solid with snow. Took my Dh 10 min.'s just to chip his way in to get the scrapper. The path ways in the lot wheren't cleared very well and the snow gathered up fairly high between cars.
I will say this you get what you pay for and we parked in the Econo lot. Never again in the winter. We have used them in April and have had no problems other then shuttle wait times. Live and learn right!

In November last year, the cheapest I found was the Regal Constellation on Dixon Road for $79.00. At that time secured free parking was included for up to 7 days. The room just had a shower and was nothing special, but it served the purpose for the one night. There was a convenient shuttle to and from the airport.

Nancy, and Julie, did you guys book theses hotels directly? Or was it a special thru a TA? I was thinking of Park&Fly, but after the story previously, I am thinking twice....but with the winter we're having so far, maybe I wont have to worry about snow (wishful thinking)!

from Canada, to book, I believe I phoned the hotel directly, as I also had a question about the parking. I did not use a TA.
For more information here is their website: www.regalconstellation.com There is a phone number under "Contact Us" if you want to call them.

We've stayed at the Quality Suites at (Airport Road and Carlingview Dr) , a couple of times... As I recall, we had rates around $99 per night and included free parking for 2 weeks. I believe there was a small fee for suttle... but if you're leaving at that time in the AM I would suggest a taxi. I find suttles extreme uncomfortable, inconvenient, and time-wasting.
The rooms were very clean, and they were suites!
