Karen! What awesome photos! I'm right there with TXBelle wiping away tears. That must have felt wonderful to pass by your little setup out on the course. :goodvibes You need to save the pics and repost them later as examples of what our scream teams can do next year. Great signs! It would be great if our scream teams could have water just in case Disney runs out of it AGAIN since we know a lot of us are proud back of the packers. Just a thought. But we definitely need to brainstorm how to get our scream teams all decked out!!!

Oh thanks for the pics of Charlie and I! We kept forgetting to bring our camera everywhere so we have NO pictures of the entire weekend. :rolleyes:

Karen -- Thank you so much for posting the pix, though I am MORTIFIED by the one of me desperately reaching for the water bottle. Did I mention most of the water stops were empty and/or disassembled by the time we passed mile 20 or something like that? UGH!
I am PMing you to ask for a few by email. I LOVED the signs and it is so great to see these pix, since I have little memory of much of the last 9 miles of the race. ;) :confused3

Karen- Thank you so much for posting these photos, and for your husband taking them. They are absolutely wonderful! I think I was able to save them all from the page, but if not I'd definitely like to have copies. I copied pictures of the cheering section too because that was such a big memory for me. I was waiting to see all of you!

This year, I had Powerade, sports beans, clif bloks, sunscreen and biofreeze. I think next year, gels instead of bloks, band-aids, second skin if I can find it, ice if it's warm again...and some other stuff I have a whole year to think about ;)

Thanks for all the compliments on the pics that John took! It was great being out there as part of the Scream Team. It was a fantastic experience and a lot of fun! :cheer2:

Dena – I did have some water with me & was able to give out a few bottles. I didn’t know until later that day that they had run out of water, powerade, cups at many of the stops. If I had known I would have went into the store at Beach Club and bought all the water they had. Not sure yet if I will be doing the half again or moving up to doing the full next year, but if I do the half again, my plan is to be at the Beach Club again for the full with a cooler on wheels filled with water.

Melissa – Please PM me your email so I can email the photo to you. Thanks. Don’t know if you were able to see in any of the photos, but Judy also had on green shoes. She was totally dressed in WISH GREEN. Well…don’t know if I should say totally….didn’t see the undergarments, so don’t know about them. :confused3 :lmao: She looked GREAT! :thumbsup2

Cam – Please don’t be mortified by the photo of you reaching for the water. I think you look fantastic. You are an amazing woman! :worship: I wish I had half your strength and determination!

For the record, no I did not have Lime undies. That was Pat. :rotfl: But yeah, pretty much everything else was Lime. It was my Scream Team uniform. Hey, I told you guys you wouldn't miss me!

And BTW this is why I think we should stick with the original shirt color. Half my wardrobe is lime! :rotfl2:

And John that is an unbelievable pic of Christa! :rotfl: At least you got a pic of her LOL Paul ran up before I realized it was him and never got a photo! I'm sooo bummed! Then there are all of the photos of the group and trees as I kept clicking away as they ran at me and away. Yup they ran away from, crazy woman yelling at them with a camera. DianeL, where were you standing for the Full! I'm still trying to figure out who was standing next to my family near the finish. They didn't catch the name.

We were in MGM across the street from the street leading to the Tower. I think it was Valentine that came and got the family next to us when their runner (was the name Catherine?) had passed. The family next to us was the Dad and I thought 2 boys but seem to recall only seeing 1 boy in the photos I have of them.

We have photos of....

In MGM proper:

Lily (I'm sure I have her because I keep thinking she reminds me our Cathy)

The family next to me as she ran up and talked with her family.


Outside MGM we have Carrie and Scott.

Plus a few additional members that I don't recall their names at the moment.

We were stopped and cheered close to where our bus dropped us off at MGM which is where we caught Carrie and I think maybe one or two others there.

We then moved towards the entrance but were across from the path to the boat launch and I think have photos from there.

Then into the park.

Robert has asked that I send him the photos which I think I will do today. Then if anyone wants me to email them I can.
