There was one more glitch in our plans....

DH and Father were due to play golf at LBV on Wednesday. They had a 9:30 tee time. We left them for the morning and sent them on their way to get a shuttle over to the golf course.

Later when we met up again...they said there was a problem. LBV is closed on Wednesdays. They were told by a CM that disney had repeatedly tried to phone us but we have no answering machine. THAT IS A LIE!! Our machine is on all the time and have been receiving messages daily. That annoyed me. However, they set them up with a tee time at Palms golf course. It ended up to not be a big deal at all. However my DH and father were beaten pretty badly by a woman that played with them. Shhhhhhh don't let them know I told you. LOL

It just annoyed me that they said that they tried to contact us. I KNOW THEY DIDN'T. What's interesting is that right before our trip there was a few phonecalls from a 407 number in FLA on our caller ID. It didn't give the name of the caller though. I figured it must have been something with Disney but never got a message on the machine so I figured it wasn't important. So I wonder if that was them calling me.

Anyway, it would be good for people to know that LBV golf course isn't open every day!!

In today's microwave society, people have low thresholds for waiting. I find that there are times when the phone will ring only 3 times before the caller hangs up - and then that same caller tells me I should get a machine! We have our call answer set to pick up after 6 rings because it sometimes takes us that long to get to the phone.

So they may well have tried to call, but didn't have the patience to wait more than a couple of rings before moving on to the next one on their list.
