Dollar Rain Ponchos

Newbie here....How many of those Dollar Store Rain Ponchos do I buy. Just one per person? We will be there 9 days. Do they refold or are they a one time use? It seems like a dumb question but I'de rather buy them for a dollar here than have to repurchase them if they only last a day.

just buy the reusable ones, one per person will be more than enough and you can take them home with you too. they appear like magicpixiedust: when the rain starts at disney and only cost $7

I usually just buy 1 for each person and 1 extra (just in case). We only have ever had to use them 2 to 3 times. I like using the $1 store ones because they are a different colour (easy to find your family) plus usually they a bigger and cover more of you than the ones they sell at Disney

I took 2 dollar store ponchos for each person. I found it easier just to throw them out.

Wal-mart sells them for 97 cents, although I found them way more "disposable" than the dollerama ones. However, if you buy more than you need, you can always return the unopened ones to Wal-mart after your trip.

I never used them. I just take cover if it rains. S

Its true that they never quite fold as neatly as they did when first purchased. But ,I used mine and refolded it into my belly bag 3 times with no problems. Just remember to air it out if its still damp otherwise it can get a little smelly.

I bought one each. They are so small when you buy them that they aren't a nuisence to carry around. We used our on Kali River Rapids - they are long enough to cover legs when you're sitting. We got them folded up small enough to fit back in their original bags - although they were much fatter! When we got back to our room we hung them in the bath tub and then folded them back up when they were dry and put them back in my little carry bag.

We have always used the $1 ones from the dollar store. IN fact we have only ever bought one each and we have been using the same ones ever since. They have gone with us on 4 disney trips.
Last trip to DL we had them in our back pack and it started raining when we arrived at Universal Studios. Like magic the rain ponchos appeared and they were selling for about $7. ( Im not exactly sure) we just pulled out our $1 that we had already used for 3 trips. I do have to admit though, this was the first time we had been rained on with them. All the other trips we had only used them for the wet rides.
