I think Sea World should be less crowded on the 4th any ideas, from you folks would be totally appreciated. As opposed to DW on the 4th.:dance3:

That used to always be true, but SW has gotten busier in the last couple years. The difference is the shows are mostly in huge stadiums so you don't have 90 minute waits for everything you want to do. That being said though, the stadiums fill up and they sometimes announce an hour before scheduled shows that the stadium is closed for the next show. There will be long lines mostly for food( not enough places to eat in the park on really busy days) and long waits for the 3 rides in the park.( Look for special picnic type meal if they offer one-all you can eat for a special price) Going on the 4th means you will not be able to see everything there, so you definitely would want to use the 2nd day free option. The park will of course be open late so there will be shows added in the evening. One thing you won't want to miss-if they offer it this year is the Nighttime Clyde and Seamore show. You need to see some of the shows before you hit that one. It makes fun of the other shows and can be really funny.

We went there last year on the 4th. It was very crowded. We still enjoyed it. We will be going again this July 4th. My kids love the place!

I went on the 4th a few years ago. They had an orchestra playing patriotic music on the stage of the ski stadium, afterwards the fireworks went off over the lake.
We got to that show 1 hour before it started. Everyone else was next door at the Shamu show.
When everything was done, it took 30 minutes to get out. Imagine a full ski and Shamu stadium trying to leave at the same time.

The wait for Kracken was only 20 minutes. I think most were at the Shamu show.

It can be a fun evening if you realize that getting out will take 30 minutes. The same thing happens at Disney after their fireworks show.
