Ok, i dont know where to start. i want to go to DLP.

i went to the DLP paris website, but seemed confused. where should i start at to get room info, rates, etc??

What about airfare from phoenix, az? When is a good time to go? I am flexible in when to go. Just want to go but not go broke doing it. would like some time to visit paris as well-what do i do there too?? I figure on going for about a week, is that good?

can i order a book or dvd of it as well? when i was on the site, the only one i found was a download book, nothing mailed to the US.

Are things as simple there as they are in dl or wdw?

HELP ME, HELP ME!!

well, to start, realize that your experience in looking for information will be different if you are in America - it is not as simple as in Europe.

To start you off...

read several pages of posts here
go to www.expedia.de (the german site) to see room only rates for DLRP hotels
understand that if you buy a room on the DLRP official site, it will include park tickets for all days; this may not be the best value
look for a Brit's Guide to DLRP on eBay or from www.amazon.uk - it's the best English language guide but rarely found in the US
from Arizona look for flights either into CDG or consider flying into London and taking the Eurostar
if you are going that much of a distance, you really should consider taking 10-14 days and seeing Paris and other parts of Europe
think of DLRP as similar to DL - the Magic Kingdom is larger and has many special touches like the original DL; the Studios park is small, like DCA when it first opened

A request for a mailed brochure won't yield results; the download brochure is the same as the mailed one. Also you won't find one at your local travel agent, although you may want to check out a Thomas Cook agency as they may have one on a very rare chance.

Have you travelled internationally and/or to Europe before? it can be very different for Americans and some are disasppointed as they don't understand the differences. Hotel rooms, for instance, are generally smaller without some of the standard ammenities like coffeemaker and hairdryer.

As to when to go; consider US Thanksgiving as the holiday decorations will be in place, crowds will be lower, and the weather will be cool but generally not too cold.

There are official onsite hotels at DLRP; see the sticky on the top of this thread. Also consider some of the offsite ones for lower rates.

I recommend doing 3-4 days of DLRP and the rest of the time in Paris; I also recommend changing hotels after the Disney stay. Others will disagree.

Hope that gets you started.
