Hi everyone!
I am a 4th year Undergraduate student at the University of Guelph, and I am currently looking into the Disney College Program for next Fall  . I remember a while ago there was a threat for parents of Canadian students that were taking part in this program, and I was hoping for some Dis help!:confused3
I have been looking through the college program website, and there is very little information for international students. Mainly, I am wondering if Disney does indeed perform presentations in Canada & approximately when these might happen, and any extra steps required for international participants (I am assuming things like passport, visa etc...).
I would greatly appreciate any help/advice/suggestions/information that you could pass my way:woohoo:
Thanks

Hey! My daughter was a CM last summer through the ICP program - university students who work in any and all parks just for the summer break. It sounds like you're more interested in the CP which is a year-long commitment and you would only be working in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. The hiring agency for all this is Cast-A-Way and their website has information about upcoming interviews. The first step of the process is sending them a resume...

Any questions, just ask! :)

You definatly have to take part in the Disney experiance!!!
I was a Cultural Rep 16yrs ago. I worked the Canadian Pavillion and lived at Vista Way. The experiance will stay with me for a life time. I was on a 6 month contract but I believe they only have one year contracts now.
You will be sharing an appt with other international reps from the other countries. My room mates were from Norway, England, Mexico, Italy and the USA. Now that the USA college program has grown so big, they tend to keep the Internationals and the USA programs at different appt complexes.
You will make friends from all over the world, have a WONDERFULL TIME and Disney looks VERY good on a resume.
I hope you decide to make the call. I have never regretted my decision and I do believe that the Disney magic I learned while working there, helps me everyday in my current career.

My DS just graduated from UWO and was recently accepted as a CM in the Cultural Program. He leaves March 13th for 1 year in the Canada Pavilion. He is sooo excited. It is my understanding that they only do interviews in Canada twice a year. He actually flew out to Calgary for the interview in November. There should be some coming up in about March I think for the Toronto/Montreal area. As Bonnie suggested, you should check out the castaway website and get your resume in ASAP. He found the following "unofficial" website very helpful. http://www.wdwip.com/ Good luck!
