Well, to start at the beginning..... DS bought me a 'Christmas Pudding' Yankee Candle for Christmas :)
As I find this, particular, aroma too 'heavy' I decided to go along to the one and only candle shop I know of in Sheffield to 'swap' it.

I found a solitary 'Black Licorice' Yankee jar :thumbsup2

It's absolutely 'yummy' but the assistant seemed to think it was an old, rather than a new, line :confused3

I've never seen it before....does anyone know any more about the scent?
Where to buy it etc :confused3 :goodvibes

Thanks

It looks like it could be an old one Alison, i have googled it and it comes up as a halloween one.

that was just like the same problem i had 2 years ago!!

I went to Washington DC, and found a "swan creek candle co" gingerbread candle in a clearance, bought it! loved it! and now cant get it!!

been to NY, WDW since then - no luck, friends been to boston, miami, L.A., and Las Vegas - nothing!!!

ive been on their website and emailed them about 20 times and no response, i still have the star shaped stars and stripes ceramic holder it came it.

would love to get it again!!!

I really can't believe that I've never seen a licorice one before as I've been a 'Yankee Candle' fan for ages :confused3

I had them as Halloween Tea Lights under the name Trick or Treat. I liked them at first but after a while they were very sickly.

I asked at the shop in Leeds yesterday, the only Halloween one's they had were an orange Trick or Treat and a black Witches Brew.

The lass had never heard of a Liquorice one but it was a small shop and they only had around 25 different one's and I understand there are many more different ones!

Thanks Jodie :thumbsup2

When I found the one I bought I, originally, thought it was 'Witches Brew' until I read the label :) .....then I got all excited as I thought it was a new fragrance (it takes very little to please me .... ;) )

The assistant I spoke too seemed to know very little about it but said it was an old one that they must have had left over - didn't see it last year though so wonder how old it is :ssst:

Still burning it though and it's stayed just as 'yummy' smelling :woohoo:
