Hi Everyone,

My family lives in NJ minutes from NYC. My dream has always been to see London. My DH & I were scheduled to go to London 6 years ago for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our holiday was to be 9-11-01 weekend. My husband works in NYC. Our trip was canceled, & since 9-11 my husband will not get on a plane to Europe. (his dad died in a plane crash)

I would love some help & advice on our up coming trip this June. It will be Me DM & my DD 12 on the Disney Med cruise this summer. When the cruise is over, we arriving back in Barcelona, we are flying to London, & arriving at LHR 3pm

I have reserved the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square. The following day we are free until 5pm (Our flight home to JFK leaves at 8pm)

Please help we are in need, of a private London tour since we only have 5 or 6hours to tour London, before our flight home that evening. I saw some on the web, that were so....... expensive.

Does anyone know of a Tour guide or Tour company or weblinks or just any advice? 5-6 hours is not very long, to see London, but I want to try to see as much as possible in this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Patricia

I have never been so I can not help you out but make sure you post lots of pictures for those of us who will never get to fly international (DH he will NEVER fly international. He hates to fly. I have never been but maybe I will hate it as well)! Have lots of fun!

Hi Patricia

The only advise I can give you is to get on a London Red Double Decker bus for a tour around the main London sights.

It won't take too long and wont be all that expensive.

I have found the above web site, I hope it helps you.

For food and drink go to the small resterants and stay away from Harrods unless you are a millionaire.

Have a wonderful time
