Tink Tattoo, loving "Still Waters" a wonderful picture, not the slightest thing I think you would want different about ths shot, but would be better a bit bigger. Is that size out of the camera, or has photobucket (or similar) resized it?
Guess it pays to be high up at the Contemporary!

Thanks - it was taken early morning from our balcony at the Contemporary. I have resized it as we are on a dial up connection here and it takes forever for me to load the bigger pictures (page 3 of the last competition took 40 minutes :scared1: ) so I didn't want to post it too big.

This is a hard category but I am looking forward to the entries

Blimey charley 40 mins is a long time. Pic is a classic though, I'll make sure I never post ours as they come out of the camera at 3800px by 2800px!

Is anyone else having problems? Is there something we can do which would help, whilst still keeping the photos big enough on screen to retain their impact?

LOL - the original is 2272 x 1704 perhaps I'll resize it to about 800 and post it again to see what it's like.

I'm just wondering is anyone else on dial up having problems with the photo's loading or is it just me

Some fantastic pictures on this thread! Tink I love both of yours - where did you take the picture of the monorail? I have about a million monorail shots as my DS is MAD on it! It was my mission to get a picture of every colour and I think we got them all in the end!

Some fantastic shots of the cruise liners and jns I love the pic of (your son?) on the mouseboat!

I went outside onto the stairwell on the 12th floor (with DH holding the door so I could get back in) and took it from there.

I'm loving that Epcot monorail shot taken on one of those recent December foggy mornings ;)

Disney Transportation is the topic, not any old vehicle you can find you fools!! Next Kev'll be posting pics of his Citroen with a Mickey aerial topper. I've got a good pic of Mickey and as he could give me a piggy-back does that count?

AFAIK you cannot get TRANSPORTED anywhere in fixed stage props in WDW.

Shame on you all, and especially Stringer who started the whole thing.

Oh and, Kevin, as if turning this week's contest into a total farce wasn't enough, you then committed the cardinal sin of posting a comment on the Entries thread! :scared1:

I am thinking up suitable punishments as we speak.

On a serious note
would Universal Transport be OK, or is that worse than Kevs suggestion.

Hi Tink, yes it is a 30sec exposure at f20 and ISO 200. Had to play around for a while to get the correct ISO and shutter speed to get the best out of the pic.

I was also suprised and pleased with the way the lights came out, almost look like I put a star filter on it.

Must admit it is my favourite shot of our recnt trip and is currently the wallpaper on our mac, where IMHO it looks better as it is a LOT bigger!

Glad you like it

Ok, changed my entry to fall within the rules 'cus I is a good boy.

Listen Stringer, rules are rules and you know how much of a stickler I am for obeying the rules!!

Is that why we were doing 90 mph on the way back from Birmingham airport? :rotfl2:

Matt I really like the effect with the lights on your 2nd picture and I was going to ask if you you used a star filter or post editting but you say that's how it came out the can???

I Suppose I'd better change my first picture too if Kev has been spanked ;) back into line.
