I just got off the phone with MS. I needed to alter my summer vacation plans and although I tried to do it online, the person working the online reservations did not quite understand I wanted to move the vacation up one week!!

anyways, I decided to call MS and speak to a person to change the reservations. Well, I was able to change the weeks without a problem but when the MS cast member went to confirm my address she had us living in Dallas Georgia!!! Now Massachusetts is quite a ways from Georgia!! She also had our wrong phone number down!!

I asked how this could of happened and then she told me the I was listed under the correct address but my husband was listed in Georgia?? LOL! Did he forget to tell me something??? LOL!!

Well, I believe it is all straightened up right now. I will speak to DH about his second life in Dallas Georgia!!! Too bad I used all the points!! LOL!

Seriously, please take a moment to verify you are listed with the correct mailing address!!

On another note...did the member dues bills go out yet? If so, whoever lives on Birch Path Rd. in Dallas Georgia........it would be nice if you could pay this for me!!:cheer2:

Interesting. Are you sure the MS rep had the correct membership account pulled up? I hope you didn't cancel and rebook someone elses ressie.

Chuck,

Can that happen? I mean with the member number and the social security last four digits it seems unlikely.

Has it ever happend to your knowledge?

OP, thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to verify things.

You may want to pull DH's credit report to make sure nobody is trying to steal his identity.

Hasn't happened to my knowledge, but the MS personnel are human, and you know when you put humans and computers together that weird things can happen. :dance3:

We are having an address issue as well. My address is changed but MS insists on sending things to my husband at the wrong address - BEYOND FRUSTRATING. I have called three times but still cannot get it fixed.

OK, I was taking this pretty lighthearted but after reading the responses i am getting a little nervous!!!

How does one 'pull a credit report'? Does DH have to do it or can I do it for him?

Thanks.....I plan to call MS again later today to see why they had him living in Georgia??

I've had two really close friends become victims of identity theft, it's awful. You can request a credit report through any of the three main credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experion, Transunion). You'll be able to see if there is any new credit lines or activity on the accounts that was not authorized by your husband or yourself.

Hopefully, it was just an computer error - but with tax refund season aproaching, I'd make sure.

I would send the correction via fax. Call DVC and tell them what you are trying to do and they will give you the appropriate fax number.

Seems to work better if they have it in writing.
