ok, so i got some disney rub-ons for my birthday and i desided to use them last night. Oh my goodness - what a workout i got. They were so hard to get off. At first i thought i was doing it wrong, but no I took off the little piece of paper behind the design and then started to rub with the popcile stick. It was difficult - to the point that my hand was getting swore. :scared: Anyone else have this problem before. I also tried some alphabet ones and they were no problem. Just bizzar - maybe i'm just more out of shape then i thought!

I used some for the gift books I made at Christmas and I fougnd that all rubons are definitely not created equal! ;) I had some JoAnns Essentials ones that just refused to come off! I did switch to another stick and that seemed to work somewhat better. The problem is I lost track of whether the short stick or the longer stick was better.
The ProvoCraft ones I had just about fell off the paper. :lmao: They were awesome! :teeth:

Holy Cow is good too. Very easy to use.
I skipped the popsicle stick and I have a rub on tool, I think it's from EK Success

Oh fun! Something else to buy! :lmao: My arms & shoulders hurt so badly after the 4th book (was doing 5) that I took Tylenol & went to bed. It wasn't until after I'd finished the last one that I wondered if my embossing tool would have worked better. http://bestsmileys.com/doh/1.gif
Does anyone know if that works?

Love the DUh smilie! I think the embossing ball might make depressions in the rub on.
Here's the tool I have

I have also tried those and apparently I am also out of shape. I have been told by other people that there is a rub on tool available. I haven't ever seen it but I wouldn't mind trying that because right now I don't understand the point. Wouldn't a sticker be the same idea only less of a work out?

I had some Eeyore rub-ons that were a real PITA. They just wouldn't come off the sheet they came on. I went out and bought another sheet (ordered the first one online) and had no trouble with them at all. Go figure.:confused3 I wonder if it has something to do with how long they had been sitting around?
BernardandMissBianca- that's for posting that link for the tool. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it when I'm out tomorrow.:)

I have been working on last year's album and I had some back to school and Christmas rub-ons that were glittery. They are very cool and look great but they nearly killed my hands. The edges were really glued down, but once you finally got the edges going they did okay.
And then I had some rub-on words (I think Memory Makers) that came off if I rubbed my finger over the back of the paper. :confused3
