Is there a web-site that lists all the opening dates? This got my husband and I talking about what rides opened when.

20 years ago I called in sick to work and stood in line to see the first showing. A TV crew came by to film the crowd. I had my friends stand in front of me so I wouldn’t be seen on the news ! ! Yep Tasman we're getting old.....

They REALLY need to update that ride. I went on it this past weekend and I had forgotten how outdated the technology is. I know that is the case with POTC and IASW, but I still prefer those over Star Tours any day!

I remember a friend and I from school decided at the last moment to go down on Friday afternoon. I took my two girls who were 15 at the time and drove down. DL was going to be open nonstop from Friday AM till Sunday PM. We stayed all night till Saturday afternoon, then came home. Don't know if I could do that today, but it sure was fun then!

Wow...and to think I went on it for the first time in October 1987 with my husband-to-be and I thought we were going on the Monsanto Inner Space ride....imagine our surprise (and delight!) It was so much fun but now I get a little motion sickness (don't laugh, kids, it might happen to you someday when you get old like me! :hippie: ) so I just close my eyes!
You know, I suppose it could be updated but you know, so could Mr. Toad...yet, it's a classic. Maybe in a year or five....

I was about 10 when that ride came out and I remember thinking it was the coolest ride ever! It was one of my favorites for a long time but I guess the years have caught up with me and now I just get nauseated when I ride it!

I remember that a freinds mom in elementary school 'bronzed' C3PO and we all had to go and see it..
I still remember the 1st ride on it... My 5 year old now enjoys it...
