I was looking through my packet of information from DVC and saw this:

Reservation Fee's when applicable- $75-$95 per trip.

can someone please explain this to me? Do all trips have this reservation fee?

Sounds like fees charged when booking non-DVC resort vacations (via II, Disney Hotels, Buena Vista Trading Co., DCL, etc.).

So any hotel listed in the book will not cost me a reservation fee?

We really want to go to Vero Beach and Hilton Head Island Resort.

I have another question. If I book at SSR 11 months out and at 7 months out rooms at the BCV are still available could I change my reservation from SSR ot BCV? Is there a fee to change/ cancel reservations?

Non-refundable Transaction fees are $75 for World Passport Collection (II Exchanges) and Disney Collection (DCL, Adventures by Disney, etc.). There are no fees fot other WDW resort reservations.

Non-refundable Transaction fees are $95 for Concierge Collection and for the Adventurer Collection.

Once made, changes to any of the above reservations would incur another (non-refundable) transaction fee. Once DVC points have been used for any of these reservation options, the points may no longer be used at DVC resorts even though the points are returned to the account - they will have the distinction of being "Reservation Points" and can only be used for another non-DVC reservation.

There are no Transaction Fees for any of the DVC resorts and there are no fees to cancel at a DVC resort and rebook at other DVC resorts.

There are no fees fot other WDW resort reservations. Thanks for the correction! :)

We really want to go to Vero Beach and Hilton Head Island Resort. Both are available as DVC resort properties. You may book either of them at the 7-month window (assuming you purchased one of the 5 DVC properties in Orlando) without additional fee.
