I am very mad right now as you can see how Tigger hit him. I think that kid was unzipping his costume! Tigger had a right to do what he did. I am so close to sending disney a letter! Tigger should have not been suspended. Tigger should have hit him I would have done the same thing. Tigger was just doing self defenece. He did not want the kids seeing him without his costume on. Please dont get mad at me this is just an opinon.

It's evident that the kid is trying to do something around Tigger's neck. If you look closely at the movements of his hand, you'll see how he places his hand behind Tigger's head, while a hug of that kind would imply him to place his hand on Tigger's left shoulder. As soon as you see the kid (or let me call him, idiot) place his hand on Tigger's head, you see how he quickly moves forward and takes out the kid's hand and turns to his right, on that quick turn he does, you can notice, at Tigger's neck, that there's something loose or hanging from it, which is, probably a zipper or something. The kid did something to Tigger, it's evident. Plus, Tigger didn't really hit or punch him, that kid is a sissy, if the dude inside the costume wanted, he would have knocked off that idiot in a way he would be still crying.

You can clearly see a "doing something wrong grin" on the oldest boy, and if it was just a harmless hug then why is the boys arm stuck as if holding on to something when tigger moves away? ? ? and he didnt punch him he cant even see him from that angel he was just trying to prevent the kid from taking his head off on camera. there is a huge diffrence between moving a harassing kid away and and a Punch and I see no Punch here. Well, if you look at it closely, part of why the kid's arm doesn't go anywhere after Tigger moves is that Tigger trap's the kid's arm in his own. Probably to stop the kid from doing anything.
The kid has a grin on his face the entire time. Even after getting hit.
Even the father thought at first that his son did something. Then he "changes" his mind. Probably after thinking about how much money he could get out of Disney.

It's extremely obvious to me, without letting my love of Disney cloud my judgement, that the boy was up to something and Tigger was doing what he could to prevent it.

It's funny how they got the family's side of the story and not the guy playing Tigger or even Disney's stance on it.;)

My sister works in the entertainment department and came to the conclusion that he was pulling on Tigger's zipper. When he tried to pull the zipper, it looks to me that Tigger's head got pulled back and he tried to get the kids hand off of him. He was probably not able to see too well and accidently hit the kids face. That is what I get from it. The boy is saying he is sore and had to be taken to the hospital. For petes sake that is a load of bull! It didn't even look that Tigger hit him that hard. This angers me! You can see in the video that is arm is flexed, if it were just an innocent hug, his arm would have been relaxed. Obviously this kid was up to no good. The way Tigger hit him really looks like an accident to be honest, Tigger was prbaby aware that someone was tugging his zipper and turned around not fully knowing the kid was there. I mean if you read articles by cast members, those heads are about as easy to see though as a wet piece of paper with a tiny eye hole in it. Looks to me like a teen-caused accident on Tigger's part (if that makes any sense).

I saw the video on TV and was just disgusted. That kid was up to no good. And tigger seemed to reacted in pain. He could not see the kid. Any kid knows you put your hand on a hot burner you get burned. The kid started it and got burned. The parents just want money. This is so sick.

I was a costume character for Canadian National Exhibition. And I could not see out the sides much less see. I was a giant mouse LOL. I feel so bad for this guy. and any jury the sees that can see what we all see. I teenage kid being a jerk.

The lawyer on TV says some people are being supportive of the family most with grudges against Disney.

They want an apology ya my foot no they want money. And what they are not thinking is that Disney could just as easily stop the characters from standing outside. And move a few to sitting in chairs with many not seen again.

It's things like this that could take away the fun of getting to meet and greet these characters we love so much. I can see it now stiff lines, no touching the characters, a quick picture and signature and off on your way. People will do anything for money these days, how about getting that kid a job for some extra cash dad, seems he needs to do something with his time. It doesn't surprise me that the family is one of the MANY who try to bilk
Disney out of money.

My favorite lawsuit against Disney was the claim that the "hydrolators"
at the Living Seas (pre-Nemo, of course) caused eardrum damage due to
rapid descent, not being pressurized, basically. The lawsuit was quickly
thrown out because Disney was granted the right to bring the court
over to the Living Seas to prove how the hydrolators worked....or in this
case DIDN'T work.

When cast members are asked if the hydrolators descend, they always
say, "Yes, they do." Because technically, the cabin descends...half an
inch. Disney was able to show the judge the secret behind the
hydrolators, and the woman's case was quickly thrown out. I would think she
would have to pay for court costs, too.

I heard this story as part of the Backstage Magic Tour. (I took it in 1999.)
