1 can chocolate frosting
1 12oz. bag chocolate chips
1/4 cup liquer of choice (I use amaretto or hazelnut)
chocolate jimmies
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler til chocolate is smooth consistency.
Mix chocolate frosting and liquer in separate bowl.
Add melted chocolate chips to frosting/liquer mix until smooth.
Refrigerate a minimum of two hours to several days.
Spoon out tablespoon full or use a 70 or 40 scoop type ice cream scooper (like restaurants use to scoop butter, can get this in a kitchen supply store), shape into small sphere size of your preference.
Coat chocolate truffle ball in chocolate jimmies.
Store in a tin or container in the refrigerator until you want to serve them.
You can put them in festive holiday mini muffin cups.
One of my favorite holiday recipes!
