I am working away at this one- I have everything but the topper designed for China- I have my some of my embelishments and have been looking at lots of pictures for the Innoventions pieces- I think I will do a scouting and picture taking mission to finalize my elements on January 19th or 20th.

I'm almost done with this one. I finished my toppers yesterday and my paper piecings today. I just have to do my tags and I'll be done. I have two ideas though - I need to play around with them a bit and decide which one to go with.

Funny story - I was showing my DH my toppers and I felt the need to explain Norway to him because he's not as obsessively focused on every Disney detail like I am ;) so I thought he might not remember it. So I started to say "It's the country in Epcot with the big Viking ship, etc" and he piped up "I know Norway. It's really expensive! Remember, I wanted to buy a jacket there and it was $400!" I had totally forgotten about that until he said that - we were looking at the gift shop with the clothes one time and were blown away by the prices. It's so funny what we remember. I wish he'd do a scrapbook with his own memories of our trips sometime - it'd be very different than mine!

Hey AWM ~ Instead of slide mounts for Morocco, I did embellished squares because the embellishments I used ended up being too big for the slides. Hope this is OK. I'm moving onto working on Italy now.

I thought about changing my square to slides, but my embellishments wont work with slides either. So squares it is. :)

My poor DS8 has been catching everything that is throne at him since Thanksgiving and the pnuemonia incident. I keep him out of my swapping, uhm I mean scrapping, room so no germs get mixed up with my embellishments and pass on the joy to others. I really hate the taste of Lysol. That is how bad the smell is to me. I can taste it in the air. ICK!! This is the second week that he has been well and I'm hoping to keep the trend going.

I've not posted a link before, so it may take a few edits to get it right. Anyway a note on my elements. I made an extra element as I wasn't real happy with my shaker box, but included it anyway. The photo mats are just double right now. You do have the option to use the watercolored single mats behind the two or alone and have four photo mats.

PS-that is supposed to be sushi & chop sticks although it really looks like pink fuzzy slippers to me

We're snowbound over here today, probably like everyone else. The drifting is probably the worst thing here with 40 mph winds, and the drifts are huge in some places. I am very happy with the way this one turned out. I had bought a maple leaf punch in case my Dad kept forgetting about my photos. Since he came through, I ended up making extra squares for eveyone so I could use the punch. So from me everyone is getting Topper, 2 mats, and 3 other elements.

AWM, Could you please mail mine back in a box? I included enough cash for postage. You can re-use the box I sent them in. My mail carrier will stuff envelopes in my mailbox in all sorts of contortions, not caring what kind of damage results. :sad2:

I will have everything swapped out this weekend. I am just being held up by the postal system. My USPS office has NO priority cardboard envelopes. I ordered them through the website, but they have not arrived yet. So those who have boxes, I will be sending your stuff first. I do have the tyvek envelopes already here, if you are okay with those, I can send this weekend. Post here what you wish.

I am so glad they arrived. I think I put in two priority mail stamps so mine can be sent back in a box, but I put them in seperately- maybe one in with each group. I love what my machine can do too although designing it on the computer can take a bit of time to begin with- but once I have made it I have it forever.

Mine will try to shove envelopes in my box too. Micksters envelope came kinda mangled and I'm pretty sure I know who did it. I've been going to the post office to pick up these other envelopes & boxes so as to not take a chance with them.

Hopefully the cardboard envelopes will get here soon.

Tiggermei, you sent me a tyvek envelop, but the postage for it will be more than one priority stamp (some of these swap items are actually pretty heavy). Do you want me to wait to send it in the flat rate envelope or do you want to send me two more $0.39 stamps?

For those of you who are willing to go flat rate, I will be trying to print out the labels via the website (and toss my handwritten ones) to get the DC for free. Those that paid for the DC will get their money back.

I'm going to call my PO on Monday and ask them to hold my mail for my personal pick-up. If my box arrives Monday, it will end up blowing to Europe before the day's end if it's left on my door-step before I get home from work.....if I go. We are under a Blizzard warning and it is happening right now. I can hardly hear the TV the wind is so bad. You should see the drifts out here. And, I'm supposed to drive 400 miles round-trip for a work meeting on Monday! Ugh.....maybe not!! :cold:
