I've read about florist that can put together a basket from mickey to be delivered to your room as a surprise for the kids.
Has anyone used this service? If so, who did you use? What did you have in it? and anything else you can think of!

I haven't used it, but you can check out disneyflorist.com .
We have had a lot of fun collecting a stockpile of Disney goodies before our trips from target, Walmart, the dollar store and the Disney Store to make tinkerbell gifts to be delivered daily when we were out or overnight while we slept. The kids really get a kick out of it. On our last trip I made the gift bags that were "delivered" while we were out -- it sure was easier than trying to do it every day.

My husband ordered a gift basket and a dozen roses for our anniversary. I was very surprised, and OMG the roses were magnificent! I dont know how much anything cost, but both were presented very well and well worth whatever he paid. :thumbsup2
The gift basket contained a lot of the snack foods sold in the gift shops- chocolates, crackers and etc. I kept the red Mickey shaped container that held the snacks.
ETA: DH says he used Disney Florist

My husband used it for our anniversary and last year for mother's day. They were expensive, but absolutely gorgeous arrangements. He went to guest services and they set it up for him. Both times they were waiting for me in the room. I was so surprised and so happy. the one for Mother's day came in a ickey vase. I ended up taking that home and use it now for flowers.

You can also check out cookiesbydesign.com -- again, I haven't used them, but they have some really cute Disney arrangements that would start off the trip w/magic. I smuggled the Tinkerbell gifts in the luggage and "delivered" them myself by going back to the room because I forgot something or they would appear overnight, etc. Some Disers make up their own baskets and ship them to the resort and ask a CM to deliver or arrange it somehow w/ the hotel. Anyway you do it, it is a magical surprise.

Last fall, I seem to remember a post about being able to pre-purchase things like autograph books & mickey ears (from Disney) and have them waiting for you at check-in.
I am searching for the link but cannot find it. If anyone has it, would you post it?
EDITED TO ADD: Found the link, apparently it was a pilot program for Magical Beginnings and is no longer being offered.
Here is the link:

I also did the Tinkerbell gifts on our trip last May. I bought Disney gifts at home prior to our trip and packed them. Then every night while we were asleep, Tinkerbell would come and leave a gift on the shelf just inside our door. Every morning our dd (2 1/2 at the time) would run to see what Tinkerbell had left. Great fun!
