Booked Disney -- April '12-19

Well, we did it! We booked our trip to Disneyland the other day and I can't wait! We had originally planned to hold off until April of next year but decided "ah, what the heck....!". :yay:

So we're off in a few months to celebrate DD's 5th birthday... she has heard mumblings about Disneyland but we told her that we just can't afford it right now. I think we'll be keeping the trip secret until the morning of. That is, of course, if I can contain my enthusiasm. <--- Which is doubtful. ;)

Off to finish filling out those passport applications....!

Apply on-line for your adult passport. Print the form, get the necessary signatures etc, and take it to your local passport office. I waited 5 min. to have my application processed in the passport office. People who manually filled out their passport applications had 4 hour waits. You can also have children's passport applications with you in the online lineup. Theirs must be filled out manually by the parent. Get a child's application at your local post office. I was out of the passport office in 10 mins., while other people ended up waiting 4 hours!

How fun. Good luck keeping a secret from the kids, I just can't mange it. I kept the last trip a secret and had to spill it one and half weeks before we went, I couldn't stand it.....
