Anyone trying to call MS today (Sat. 12:57pm Central)?

I keep getting a busy signal! I can't even get through to the prompts!

Is anyone getting through? How long have you been waiting for an MS CM?

I've been calling day by day for the past 4 days. The past 3 days I called at 9:00 and got right through. Today I called at 1:00 and was on hold for about 12 minutes. This is my first time calling MS on a Saturday. Perhaps they have less CMs working on Saturday than they do M-F.

I have been calling all week, too. Same as you...I get through right at 9am. I had a birthday lunch with my DSis so I wasn't able to call at 1pm Eastern.

I finally have gotten through. My estimated wait time was stated as "more than 15 minutes." I suppose that could mean 20 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour.

I've been on hold now for 11 minutes according to my phone.

Maybe there are fewer MS CMs working on Saturdays. I bet there are more people calling on Saturdays because 1) MS is open and 2) People aren't at work.

To me this was the downside being open on the weekend. I'd have to call on the weekend for those day-by-day ressies!!! :lmao: (which I always have to do!)

I kept getting a busy signal and finally got through. I waited 20 minutes and then got transferred to the brief survey without ever reaching anyone at ms. It automatically disconnects at the end of the survey.

I've been trying every 10-15 minutes since 1:00 and every time, I've gotten a busy signal. I just decided to give up. The only thing is that I check into BCV on Monday and I still have several days to book. So I'm hoping that BCV has a way to call MS without a charge.

Its an 800 number I dont think you will get charged

No charge and faster than dialing the 800 number. I may be wrong, but I think the fron desk has direct lines to MS - I never had to wait long for a CM. Good thing, it was awful having to wait until 9 to leave the room, LOL.

I called at 1:00pm eastern, was on hold about 15 minutes and got what I needed. One more call to go on my day by day for 12/1 to 12/7, boardwalk view studio. The other days I got right through. It was much easier this year than when I did it other years for the same time period, they must have more operators.

I called at 12:00pm (central) and got right in no wait. I got the room I wanted with no problem. I spoke with the CM about working Saturday and told her I didnt have to wait. She told me I called right at 1:00 and if I would have waited til 2:00 I would wait a long time. She also said less people working today.

I called today for our first trip home. It was the first day of my day by day booking marathon (10 nights!) I called at 10:55 (MST) and they weren't open yet, then called at 10:57 and was put on hold for 3 minutes. I'm glad I called early.

Last Saturday I found MS to be very busy... many tries to get through then 15-20 minutes waits on hold....

But I learned the hard way when trying to book HHI for the summer.. I waited until Monday to book the first 3 nights and the the first two had been booked up on Saturdays.

From now on when I need an important day by day reservation, I will make sure I can call as soon as MS opens on a Saturday if I need too...

I know ! I know! not the norm but with all the talk about long waits for these times in DEC I decided to call right at the exact time.

Our st studio was available everyday. Now watch ,on Mon I'll have a 2 hr wait and not get the st studio

Okay...... I picked up the phone to book our first DVC trip, I looked in the planning guide for the phone number, and it said MS isn't open on Saturdays! Is it a different number that you have to call?

Same number, I called on 12/23 to get Thanksgiving and they open at 1pm on Sat. I was on hold for about 10-15 minutes.

I think MS being open on Saturdays is something new.
