I have only eaten at a limited amount since I haven't been to the World a whole lot of times, but out of the ones we've been to, it's definitely JIKO.

I voted Flying Fish.
Really, I wouldn't consider most of the restaurants on your list DVC restaurants. I see what you are trying to do so I voted anyway.
I had one of the best pieces of Tuna I've ever had at Flying Fish.

Artist Point and Cape May Cafe (for the buffet) are 2 restaurants that we consistently eat at. There are so many that you mention that we've never tried.

I voted for Cape May and Whispering Canyon. I also voted for ESPN for my DH - he goes every night!

Shhhhhh.....:upsidedow
Keep Turf Club a secret!
I would have voted Cape may prior to our last visit. It was horrible that night.

Buffets give me the heebie-jeebies. I just can't bring myself to eat at a buffet-style restaurant.
I would like to try a signature DVC dining restaurant or two on the next trip, and I'm curious about which one people like the most. Flying Fish gets great professional reviews, but nobody on the dis seems to mention it much. :confused3
I'm leaning towards AP for our next trip, but FF and YS would be much more convenient since we'll be at BWV - I just want it to be worth the signature pricing, KWIM?

We love Artist Point at WL, and I also voted for Beaches and Cream and Olivias. LOVE both of those too! Now when AKV comes aboard, my hands down favorite WDW restaurant is Jiko at AKL, so Beaches and Cream and Olivia's will have to move over for that one!

I don't think Big River, Spoodles, Flying Fish, or ESPN are relevant options in this poll--they are not restaurants that are part of a DVC resort (they are close, but, IMHO, close doesn't count--might as well include DD and Epcot if close is going to count). If Artist Palette is included, then so should the Marketplace at Beach Club and Good's to Go at OKW.
We love Cape May Cafe and Olivia's (breakfast especially).
Even though I do not care for the new "vannila" menus they are going to and have dropped several of the signatures foods, I still had to vote for Olivia's at OKW. We were sorely disappointed the last time we ate there and only ate there once, kind of a silent protest to the menu changes. I voted to support the local team. I keep hoping they will bring back a couple of the favorites...smjj

We may try Flying Fish in March.

I have tried 6 of the mentioned restaurants. I am happy to see that my 2 favorites, Beaches & Cream and Whispering Canyon Cafe, are currently in the lead!

I have only tried a few, but wanted to say Roaring Forks had the best counter service meals out of all the ones we ate at. It was the same food(like the pizza) but it was very freshly made and for some reason just tasted better. Pizzasafari was close, but Roaring was better.
We did eat at cape May for breakfast in 05 it was ok, but there were hardly any people and the poor characters had nothing to do but stare at us and bother us (we were sans kids for that meal) this overwhelming of character exposure has led us to dread meals with Characters unless there is a ton of kids to distract them at.

I just wanted to state that BC and BCV are well represented in this poll. Seems that many find that to be the best dining resort on site for DVC.

Starbox,
If you love fish and seafood give Flying Fish a try. They get the fish fresh from the docks daily. They also manage to get some high end Tuna and the like that only a handful of purveyors have access too.
Service and atmosphere are top notch as well. I've tried many of the fine dining restaurants at WDW and this one ranks up there. Portions aren't huge so it is a bottle of wine appetizer, dinner and possibly dessert type of place.

Now you have me worried, were doing our first character dining in early May at CP for dinner. Kids get the election day off, so were doing a 4 day. Hopefully there will be other kids there, I don't think I really want Pooh & Tigger lingering too long at our table. Kind of creepy thinking of them staring at you.
Flying Fish is on my list to try, as well as Artist's Point. Back to ADR planning mode for the next trip!

I voted Olivia's and Beaches & Cream. Olivia's for breakfast, B & C for the fun stuff :)

I disagree. The rules are if it is attached to the DVC hotel it is our restaurant. Big River, Spoodles, Flying Fish, or ESPN are all in the Boardwark hotel. This is where you eat when you stay at the Boardwalk. EPCOT is out and so is DTD (not part of the hotel).
No one is going to pick Market Place or Good's to Go as there favorite restaurant.

How can Beaches and Cream even qualify as a "restaurant" let alone be leading in this poll???????
I've seen more elaborate menus at gas stations.
Burger - juicy beef patty served on a fresh baked bun topped with lettuce, tomato and pickle. Served with french fries or fresh fruit. Single $7.89; double $9.89
Roast Beef Sub - grilled roast beef with au jus and topped with provolone cheese, grilled onions and peppers $8.99
Chicken Sandwich - grilled chicken breast topped with lettuce, tomato, and pickle served on a multi-grain bun $8.99
Turkey Sandwich - thinly sliced, roast turkey topped with lettuce, tomato, and pickle served on a multi-grain bun $7.99
Veggie Burger - grilled vegetable and grain patty topped with lettuce, tomato and pickle on a multi-grain bun $7.49
Hot Dog - all beef hot dog on a toasted bun $6.49. Add your favorite fixin': sauerkraut, cheese or chili $.99 each
Above items served with french fries or fresh fruit.
Bacon or Grilled Onions $.99
Caesar Salad $5.59; with chicken $8.99
Chicken Noodle Soup $3.99
Bowl of Chili $5.99
