I've tried Slim Fast in the past. I didn't work for me. I just can't get past the taste and I need real food especially in the morning or I feel sick.

A good friend of mine did it and lost a bit on it. She couldn't stick with it for too long at a time. Twice a day for more than a week and she was sick of them. She used it to jump start a healthy eating plan and to get her body used to smaller amounts of food.

Good luck to you!

My DSis does slimfast and has really good success on it. She did it last summer and lost 13 lbs I believe. (That was all she needed to lose! The brat!)She usually has a shake for breakfast and a bar for lunch. She follows the diet plan on the box. It recommends having a piece of fruit for a snack between bfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner or you can have a snack bar, I believe. I'm not totally sure on what the box says. But then she eats a dinner. And sometimes not the best dinner and she usually loses weight. About 2 lbs a week. And she says if she sticks to it faithfully for 3 days she loses.

Hope that helps. I personally feel starving on it. But sometimes when I look at my DSis I think Hey If I can look like that maybe I should try again!! But I'm doing WW and doing pretty good. Down 22lbs!!!

Good luck!!!

thanks for the info....

so far I'm only drinking 1 shake for b'fast (around 9 or 10) & then eating one of the choclate bars for snack around 3 eat a Lean Cuisine or other kinda meal for lunch & whatever the rest of the fam has for dinner... I also have a banana for snack & skim milk to drink....

We'll see how it goes - so far I'm not starving on it - it's just that 3:00 timeframe that I get hungry - today I drank 1/2 of my shake in the a.m. & had the other 1/2 @ snack time & that helped a great deal.

I just found chocolate "Lo Carb" Slimfast in cans (15 in package) at Sams Club - I hadn't seen that type before - and I plan to start on Monday - we'll see how it goes! I'm going to exercise faithfully too! :yay:
