Is there such a thing as a Government employee discount at Disney??

I was just reading a post and someone mentioned they got a great rate due to their government employee discount!!!! Is this true??? if it is, what is the discount and do you have to book through CRO??

Yes, and government/teacher discounted rooms book fast! Believe me, I know...I didn't act fast enough last time!

If you are Military, you can also check out Shades of Green (which is on Disney property). Check out their website, as they offer rooms and discounts on tickets (not sure about the dining option, will advise when I hear back from them). I believe the site is www . shadesofgreen . org

Shades of Green is also available to government workers and price depends on their pay level. I've looked into it a few time because my fiance is a government employee, however, the prices still aren't THAT great! We got a better deal staying at POP.
