Sunday, 11/25, Day 3:
This was our first full day at MK. We arrived just before opening and stayed until 5:45pm. The park closed at 6:00pm which irritated us because we felt that it was crowded and should have stayed open later. There were several attractions that we didn’t get to do this day due to lack of time. We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We watched the “Share a Dream Come True” parade at 3:00 – it was beautiful, but we picked a really bad spot to sit because we had the sun shining right in our eyes. At 5:45, we hopped on the monorail to go to the Poly to watch the fireworks at 6:15. It was very peaceful to sit out on the beach and watch them. We had a 6:30 PS at O’Hana’s for dinner. After dinner, DH, DS, and our youngest DD headed back to CR. My DD5 and I went over to GF to look at Christmas decorations and shop. It’s well worth the trip to the resort – it was beautiful. If you’re there during the holidays, be sure to check out the huge gingerbread house.

I love the Columbia Harbour House! We'll be sure to see the Gingerbread house when we go down there in a couple of weeks.

Wow, you guys *really* like the MK! :D I'm really looking forward to the new MK parade...I keep seeing the commercials on TV and the snowglobes look AWESOME!

We were at magic kingdom the same day, and I was disappointed they were only open until 6 too! This was one of the days we parked at Epcot in the morning so we could monorail it to the magic kingdom and then back to epcot to finish the night. I never did make it to the GF to see the decorations, I wish I had!

I had dinner at O'hana's with friends during DISCON. They sure do give you a lot of food.

I enjoyed reading about your day, thanks for posting this.

The GF is lovely during the holidays! The gingerbread house is unbelievable! On eof these days, I'd love to be there to watch them build it. :)
