Sunday, 11/25, Day 3:
This was our first full day at MK. We arrived just before opening and stayed until 5:45pm. The park closed at 6:00pm which irritated us because we felt that it was crowded and should have stayed open later. There were several attractions that we didn’t get to do this day due to lack of time. We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We watched the “Share a Dream Come True” parade at 3:00 – it was beautiful, but we picked a really bad spot to sit because we had the sun shining right in our eyes. At 5:45, we hopped on the monorail to go to the Poly to watch the fireworks at 6:15. It was very peaceful to sit out on the beach and watch them. We had a 6:30 PS at O’Hana’s for dinner. After dinner, DH, DS, and our youngest DD headed back to CR. My DD5 and I went over to GF to look at Christmas decorations and shop. It’s well worth the trip to the resort – it was beautiful. If you’re there during the holidays, be sure to check out the huge gingerbread house.
