We just arrived home from the most perfect Disney weekend. I will post a trip report in the next few days with information about the hotel, kids club, third park and DCA. If you have any questions, just ask.

Calbay- this information comes from the Grand News.

Pinocchio's Workshop

If you are between the ages of 5 and 12, you can join in the fun at Pinocchio's Workshop from 5pm to 12am. Please call ext. 7301. There is a fee of $9 per hour per child and includes snack. (Meals are available at an additional cost.) Open Tuesday-Saturday.
I visited the room on Saturday night about 9pm. It is a fairly small area. The counselor in charge was very nice and answered all of my questions. They have a television and VCR, Playstation 2, and many board games. When I peeked in I only saw 2 children (some may have been asleep in the other room). For $5.00 extra, a meal could be included.
The security looked very good. When I opened the door I was greeted immediately. You had to pass through a gate to get into the main room. There was a sign in/sign out sheet also.
I am not certain if this service is for resort guests only. I would feel comfortable leaving my children at this facility. ;)

Hi Tink! Sorry we missed you this weekend, and I hope you enjoyed your stay at the GC. :)
My guess is that Pinocchio's Workshop is for GC guests only; when I tried to make a reservation at the Storyteller's Cafe for dinner (and we were staying at the Disneyland Hotel) I was told that ONLY GC guests could make reservations there! Oh well, no biggie, we got in with about a 20-minute wait and found the staff to be EXCEEDINGLY nice (one of the hostesses brought my daughter a basket of corn muffins while we were waiting because she heard her complaining about how she was starving!) :)
Look forward to reading your trip report! :)

Thanks Tink,
Matthew may be staying here one night so DH and I can have dinner alone. I can't believe they are only open Tues - Sat. Guess we won't be going out on Sunday like we had planned.
