meh... I hate this word! Why is it used? Where did it come from? I don't understand the reason for adding an H to the correct word ME. I hope vmk removes it soon from the dictionary.

ROFL.. Thanks for the very complete response Lori. That is exactly what I thought the word was for.. instead of saying BLAH you might say MEH.

What irks me to no end though is that its being used as the word ME and the way I feel about that is MEH!! :headache: Doesn't anyone even care about trying to write correctly anymore? I don't know how someone in school manages to pass if they are writing papers like this. :surfweb:

Jewel, I like the word Meh. Sometimes it is the most positive response I can give for something I don't like. Sorry the misuse bothers you, but I find it rather funny.

VMK, please do not take my meh away, lol.

My kid, MonkeyRulz, and her friends use Meh all the time! They  saying it -- it's a fun word for them and I know they would miss it a lot if they were no longer able to say it. :(

"Hmm..Meh." :)

Oh, Jewel...I'm rather bemused by your irritation. ;)

But I do recall our converstation about it the other day, and I don't really understand it's popularity.

But whatever...I tend to just ignore those words that annoy me.

Its not the word that bothers me. Using the definition above, I would use the word too to describe something I feel "blah" about. What I don't understand is using it in the place of the word ME. Is it because someone feels blah about themselves? It just sounds so weird to me.
Try saying these sentence allowed and tell me it doesn't sound very strange/funny..
Meh and my shadow. (even funnier in song)
Follow meh to my room.
Will you trade meh a crown for a mask?
Shiver meh timbers!
Oh.. and there's that Toby Keith song... Wanna talk about meh..

Arg, see now y'all made me type that word more times than I ever wanted to in a lifetime... happy? :upsidedow

:scared1: Ok people.. Your treating this word like it's a lifestyle..

Why would it be such a big deal if VMK corrected our simple spelling errors? :confused3
