Hi! This swap is going to be amazing! We have some incredibly talented swappers playing!

I just wanted to start a progress thread for this swap. Don't forget you are making two elements, and you only have to make 5 of each element for each group you are in. The list of elements and groups can be found in the original sign-up thread:

The deadline for these to be at my house is February 28th. I will wait a week to mail, but I have a firm mailing date of March 5 - I want to get these to you before I head for Spring Break in the World!

My DH loves the white stuff. Of course he's a school bus driver so he never has to go to work in it, but that's not even the reason why. He loves you-know-what-blowing and he loves how the streets look all covered in white. Personally, I HATE it, especially after the past few winters when we've had feet of it on the ground for months. I've gotten stuck in a you-know-what-bank trying to get to work before and I think it looks pretty for a day then it looks all gross. But anyway, my DH is pretty mad about the lack of you-know-what this year. He said the funniest thing yesterday. "You know if it hasn't you-know-what-ed by now than it might as well just never you-know-what!"

The BEARS game was quite a game! My mother lives in Miami Shores, but I won't be going down. She's a Chicago girl, but probably didn't pay any attention to the game.

I gave up on the Colts / Patriots game yesterday, too, and watched The Apprentice. But, I read about the game later.

Usually, the Bears lose if I watch them play so that tells you how much I watch football or any sports. I just get into it because I love Chicago.

I'm working hard on my Liberty Square items.. I had a creative idea..but want to make sure it's okay before I go any further... Do you all mind having borders that run the top and bottom of the page? They would be the size of a topper... If all else I was thinking if you do a 2 page LO you could run the borders as a topper on each page...
I have to come up with the tag at this point... it's giving me some grief...but it really do like the look of the borders...

Hey! I was in my "mobile office" last night... for what reason.. BASKETBALL practices!!! Guess what I'll be back in it tonight!! Why??? Basketball game!!!
I asked DH if he thought I could legitimately right off my mobile office for the sake of running the kids around! He said..NO! Can you believe it.. I can't even get a tax break for being a taxi for my kids! :rotfl2:

I do have this really cool spacehship die cut that came with the robot one. IF I can find my fun foam (I cleaned up and now have no idea where most of my things are) I will make those in addition to topper & journal boxes.

Well I went and did something really evil, but I figured I have 18 months to pay it off. I booked the eastern repo Panama Canal cruise for August 2008. Went on-line first thing 1/30 and got a cat 9. It just sounded too good to miss!

Our most interesting science fair project was the effects of drafting on a NASCAR car. Picture a scale model car with string glued on to show the slip stream and a shop vac set on BLOW. It was actually pretty good.

If this is what you manage on "short-notice", then I think you need to always angel - for me - seriously, just do all my stuff.

B&MB - AWM hit it on the head - everything is getting so much better. I think we are all just getting inspired by each other (at least I know I am).

What amazed me about this latest stuff was that AWM did it so quickly and it is so good! Don't we just love die cut machines!

I feel the same way as you though...some things I feel really good about, and others I'm just not as inspired. Then when I see it next to the good stuff, well.... :sad2:
