There is a message on the HRH Orlando website that there have been recent renovations to the rooms ... when were the renovations completed? Anybody stayed before and after renovations with opinions on the new look? Any info at all?

Also, any info on the pet friendly rooms would be helpful, we are considering booking at HRH (instead of disneys POFQ) for our upcoming vacation and would love to bring our pet (cocker spaniel). What are the "Pet Friendly Rooms" like? Are there any club level pet friendly rooms?

Here is what is posted on the website:

A Rockin' Renovation

The hotel rooms have undergone a hip and stylish renovation of all 650 guest rooms and suites. The new rooms feature upgraded amenities including a 32-inch flat panel television and MP3 landing stations. Suites have tabletop stereos plus iHome clock radios. All club level rooms are outfitted with DVD players.

Yes, the rooms have been renovated and they are awesome! We stayed there last month for two nights and are going again this weekend! The one thing I love about HRH is how close it is to walk to the parks! Only a 5 min. walk to Universal Studios entrance! :)

I just checked out yesterday and minus the guitar the couch and the martini glasses that was MY ROOM!!

My 14yo son walked in first and when he saw the TV he gasped! It's a huge 32" LG, absolutely incredible. There was a table in the corner where the couch is and an armchair across from the table. The star shaped hassock as in front of the comfy chair.

We stayed the first year the Hard Rock opened and now this week. The renovation was a major plus.

I just came across virtual tours of renovated, queens bedded rooms, kids suite and king suite. They look great! I like the carpets, bet it will hide wear and tear better than what they had. Ice Portal.

NICE!! I would love to snag the HRH for $149 in Dec.! Heck, I would love a kid's suit, but I'm sure I wouldn't love the price.
