Things that bothered me about DISCon....

While the event was very successful, and everyone had a great time, there are some things that are bothering me about the last 4 days. I want to share them with everyone:

1) There was no tiara and sash for me. I thought I had made it very clear that there is room for only one "queen" on the DIS. In order to be more "one with the people", I decided to leave my throne at home this year, but a crown and sash would have been nice. I'll discuss this oversight with my therapist for several months, I can assure you.

2) While the ornament that DumboOrBust gave me was a nice gesture, I'm not sure that a Christmas decoration depicting me choking the life out of Dan Murphy is exactly appropriate.

3) While I'm on the topic of Dan Murphy, his failure to show up in drag as promised was quite upsetting to me. Next year, he'll be made to wait outside unless he dresses appropriately for the events.

4) I was upset that WebmasterCathyCanada refused to wear a lanyard that displayed her proper name (which, for the record, is Frank).

5) JayPD insisted on telling his young son, Zach, to be afraid of me because I would simply delete him if I didn't like him. I did not think that was very nice.

6) Also, I don't think it's appropriate for a moderator on the DIS to engage in the behavior that Jay did while in the bathroom at JellyRolls. He knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about (and so does his wife).

7) Although they tried to hide it from me, I was well aware of the t-shirts that had pictures of me with fangs and an Uzi. Anyone who knows me knows full well that I never carry the Uzi at WDW.

8) While BarbForReal is a lovely woman, I thought it was in poor taste that she stood outside the Epcot dessert party making fun of anyone without a DIS lanyard, by holding her thumb and index finger in the "L" shape to her forehead, screaming LOSER at passersby. Really uncalled for.

9) I received numerous requests from visitors to ask Ray Sharpton to stop dancing naked on his balcony at the Swan. He strung Christmas lights all over his body and danced to "Hot Stuff" from 9pm until Midnight. Apparently security at the Swan enjoyed the show as they failed to remove him from the resort. SideShowBob also mentioned that the Swan was thinking of asking him to do the show in the Lobby next year.

I share these thoughts in hopes that people will think more carefully at future events. Other than the above incidents, I enjoyed myself immensely!

I am so sorry about the tiara....I promise that next year, I myself will make sure you get one even bigger and better than Linda's or Marsha's (though I know one will be totally jealous!). This slight oversight will definitely cause me to go to therapy for months longer now. What was I thinking?
Oh, and what color sash would you like? Or a royal robe...hmmmmm that could be quite majestic.... ;) I'll order it right away....Just please, don't have me deleted like Zach (though you know what that kid has a harem at under two....geez!)

What am I going to do with you. You got the story all wrong. I wasn't at the Swan...I was at the Dolphin.

And I was not dancing around on the balcony naked with chistmas lights on me either.

The real story is I was trying to tape those darn christmas lights on the balcony (I almost dropped them over the balcony a couple of times). So I drapped them over my shoulder while I was taping those darn lights to the balcony. My big old fat arms wouldn't fit through the metal railing, so I was leaning over the balcony to tape the bottom parts straight and I almost fell over, LOL.

I caught myself and stepped on some of the lights and shocked or scared the heck out of myself. Then I jumped and stepped on another couple of lights.


O.K....O.K....O.K....I shouldn't have had the lights plugged in and on while I was taping them to the balcony, but I wanted to tape them so they looked good.

And I was not dancing with christmas lights on my body. I was stepping...O.K., I was jumping around on the broken glass, and the exposed electrical wires from the broken light bulbs.

So I could see that you thought I was dancing around on my balcony with christmas lights on my body. And that wasn't music that I was dancing to, that was several, choice words and painful yelps from being shocked.

And I wasn't naked either. I was wearing m BIG DOG Boxers. And yes, I did get an applause from the security people below... and maybe a few people on the bridge...and, O.K.,...maybe from the passing Friendship boat launch, but I was fine after picking the glass out of my feet and a little Neosporin on my feet.

Now, don't you feel bad Mr. Pete Werner.

P.S.: If Barb for real or Tia or Sandra B. say anything about my BIG DOG boxers, don't believe them! As a matter of fact, don't believe anything that you hear from anyone from DIS-CON. O.K..

I will tell you something that truly bothered me about DisCon.. TOO SHORT... and of course the ambulance ride from the Poly to the hospital was not fun either.. hey.. but that is behind me..
