I can't wait. Just made our reservations for Dec 8-15. We had such a great time on our trip this past December that we had to come back. Besides we didn't get to do all the stuff we wanted to do. The Fort is awesome! :goodvibes

That is great! I was at Disney from Dec 15-23 and was able to stop by the Fort and enjoy some of its great extras like the campfire and the water parade. I wanted to rent one of the little sea raycers, but didn't have the time to fit that in...I sure wish I could book another December trip! Have fun planning for your next trip!

Thanks. I am looking forward to planning it. We probably won't be back for a while after this next trip.
I loved the water parade. Fort Wilderness has lots of great things going on. Did you check out any of the decorations that people put up at their sites? I couldn't believe all the decorations they put up.

Yeah I did get to check out the decorations that people had up and they were amazing! I put a picture on the pic of the fort thread of the site 301 (I think) setup, that was an amazing decoration job. I had time before the hoop dee doo to walk around and I got to see a bunch of the different decorated sites, it was lots of fun...I want to go back!

We're toying with the idea fo a pre-Christmas trip this year ourself. What were the crowds like? I hear about some PopWarner thing going on in Dec. but not sure exactly when it is and how it affects attendance.

It was great. That is why we are going back. We had little to no wait for anything. A few times it seemed crowded but we were very pleased to only feel crowded a few times.
The only time I noticed what could have been Pop Warner (I guess) was at Fantasmic on the night of Dec 11. In the audience there were several groups of cheerleaders who kept screaming and cheering but didn't really bother us. They were trying to get everyone to do the wave and once they finally had everyone doing that they didn't seem to scream as much.

I hope this year is the same. It is certainly beautiful that time of the year. I don't know if I would want to go another time period now. Good luck whatever you decide.

This was our 2nd pre Christmas trip to the Fort. It is so neat to see the creativity campers put in ther sites. I'm really going to miss not going back this next December. I did not think the line were bad, it just a wonderful time to be in Disney and take in the Holiday. Have Fun!

That was an awesome display. I am amazed at all the work they go to. I understand that some of them have those huge motorhomes and then pull a big enclosed trailer behind them just to get all their decorations there. :upsidedow
