Anybody know where I can find a free or relatively free pattern for a ren-style skirt? Because I need new garb for this year's Scarborough (starts in April) and I want to make a skirt to go with the gypsy-style shirt I already own.

Here's two sites - the first has both gored and gathered skirt instructions, the second has only gathered. Gathered is easier, but I really like my gored skirts better.

I don't think I'm brave enough to do gathers..gored I can sort of kind of do. Maybe.

Also, lots of times Hancock Fabrics will have a certain brand of patterns for $0.99 each. From Jan 13-15 they have all McCalls patterns for $0.99. Heres a link:

Hobby Lobby's ad for this week also has 0.99 patterns :)
