Last year's AP rates for May/June

Does anyone remember what the AP rates were for May/June of last year? I realize this year's may be different (or that there may not be any) but I wanted to do the math anyway just to get some idea if it would be worth it to buy one AP just for the discount. We will probably stay at a value or possibly one of the moderates. Thanks and Happy New Year!:)

I'd love to know more about AP discounts as well. We're currently slated to stay at a mod (with much deliberation between CSR & POFQ), but really we'd love to upgrade to AKL. An AP discount would make that a possibility. :goodvibes

We paid $74 a night AP rate for a standard room at Pop Century the beginning of May 2006. That was $25 off the rack rate. The AP discounts did not begin until the Sunday after Easter Sunday as the week before and week after Easter were blacked out. Easter was late April last year (I think the 23rd) and and discounts did not start until Sunday APril 28th. This year should not be a problem since Easter Sunday is April 8th. AP discounts were not released until March and there were no general public discounts that I recall.

There were no AP discounts last year in June and July at the value and moderate resorts. There were a few at DVC locations and EPCOT resorts only. I guess since June and July were so booked up there was no need to offer discounts. Now I see that there are new higher rates at value and moderate resorts for June and July -- summer rates. HOwever, remember if you check in in May while there are discounts, your room could possibily still be discounted into June. Something to remember when booking.

It was $25 off value, $40 off moderate and $100 off deluxe. The discount was for check in dates of 4/23-6/3. I have it written down cuz we did 1 night at Pop, 7 nights at POR and 4 nights at AKL in May. These rates came out on 2/22. Hope this helps.
