Trails End on DDP

How does Trails End dinner compare to other restaurants? Would you use one of your credits at dinner here or would you go elsewhere?

We've eaten lunch/dinner there twice. We used our dining plan both days. Its got down home type dinners. Pull pork, pizza, mac & cheese, chili, salad thats just off the top of my head. its a buffet type meal. We loved it.

The food is good, but the selection is more limited than other buffets. I wouldn't make a special trip there. Well, I would, but I'm not sure I would suggest that others do the same.

When we were on the dining plan we only ate there once, for breakfast, and paid out of pocket because it's less than other table service meals. We were staying at FW.

Honestly, there are so many other places to eat that I wouldn't use DDP credits here. Some places we used our TS credits for: Boma (love), Liberty Tree tavern (ick), HDDR (fun for all ages), & Le Cellier (very good and great service). Our family could eat at Boma every night!

I wouldn't use a dining plan there as they are less than 1/2 of the character dining places. And if you have kids that don't care for buffets they kindly made up a grilled cheese platter for my daughter for only $4.99! I love the food & service there! We stay in Fort Wilderness and eat atleast 1 breakfast & dinner there each time we stay.
