I'd like to hear from some of you who have been to FW during the Christmas/New Years break to know if Ms. Sundee is still at the sing-a-long.:rolleyes1
She has the energy and pep during the sing-along that I admire when alot of the crowd are not yet into the FW campfire spirit. She's a very nice lady (I've had the chance to talk with her in the past before she came out and I feel like she does the campfire as a ministry to the rest of us). :dance3:
I know she's had some health issues in the past but I would like to know if she was at FW recently. We will be there in March and to our kids it wouldn't be the FW campfire sing-along unless Ms. Sundee was there to lead it. Can anyone tell us?
Thanks in advance, Bama ED :cool2:

She was there one night in November. She said she was not usually at the campfire anymore. She was working at AK and was involved in the Year of A Milllion Dreams there.

Ms. Sundee is doing the sing a longs on Wed and Sat until further notice. I spoke to her yesterday and she is doing well. Still doing her "other job" at the AK during the day.

She was there on December 14th, I believe it was. My kids and I were reminiscing about FW a few years back and they said one of their favorite memories (after going to the actual campfire sing-a-long) was hearing Sundee singing songs and listening to the movies as they were going to sleep. Yep, after they got ready for bed (air mattress) and snuggled into our tent, we could hear the campfire sing-a-long all the way at the 1500 loop!
Sundee's singalongs make us feel :hippie: :thumbsup2 (my youngest asked me to add these!).

We went on Wednesday, Dec 20th and Dawn was there, when I asked about Ms Sundee, Dawn said that she had been asked to fill in for Ms Sundee that day. She also said that Ms Sundee has a scooter and is getting around quite well now and is doing well but you can never tell when she may be feeling a little under the weather and need Dawn to fill in for her at the campfire. I also asked her to send all our regards and best wishes to Ms Sundee.

:cool1: Last night the kids heard the singing from our site here in the 300 loop. We thought it may be Ms. Sundee. They ran over there in the rain but it was not her. They told her that Sundee will be at the campfire tonight and Saturday. We will be heading over tonight for the campfire and movie (Tarzan).

We had a chance to visit with her during the holidays and she was doing very well.
The whole group at "campfire" are great, Ms Sundee, Ms Julie, Ms Maggie, Ms Jeannie (hold onto your hat if you run into her) :lmao:

Then you met us. We were the family from Michigan that got to walk up with Chip and Dale.

They stole your hat?... we were sitting behind you a row to your left. We got back yesterday. We spent 7 nights in loop 1600. Are you still there?

That was Chip that stole my hat, I told him that was why we always sat on Dales side.
We just got back last night, left FW at 10:22 AM on the 2nd and got home last night about 6:45. I wrote down the mileage from the 1400 loop, I need to check my truck to see what the final is. I wanted to get an accurate number door to door.

Ms. Sundee acted like she knew you guys personally. We recognize her and speak to her but I doubt she remembers us. We like Julie too, she has been there for a very long time. Do you go to FW often? We have been about 7 times since 2002. The mileage home was 484 for us.

I only know her from FW and the many times we have been there. We had just eaten dinner together at our site in 1400. She is a true "people person" and loves to talk.
We have been going to the campfire since the mid 90's when we used to stay at the other resorts. It has always been one of our favorite things to do at WDW.
I checked earlier today and it was 1160 miles door to door. Ended up costing me almost $600 for fuel.
If it wasnt so far away I am sure we would go more often, we try to go at least once each year.

o.k., Scott, who is her favorite? You were there last, but I will be sure to verify next Friday when I arrive. I know she is going to do the show Fri and Sat next week! Can you say "speed dial"?:rotfl2: :rotfl:

I am pretty sure that Ms Sundee has enough love for all of us. I dont ask her to choose, I am content to just be her friend, thats enough for me.
I think you win anways cause you are always there, I however am at a logistical disadvantage plus I have these 2 pesky jobs that keep getting in the way of all my fun. :rotfl:

party: love for all, I agree. I can't help it if I am 1,000 miles closer, that's just an advantage on my part! :cheer2: :rotfl2: Not to mention that I am an unemployed bum and will pack my car and or camper at the drop of a hat!:lmao:

Why would I take career advice from an "unemployed bum" :confused3
The boss has already said we are going to move to a warmer climate, its just a matter of time.
Bigbrother only has 3 years to go, you may see him down there more often.

Well as you can see by my signature, I'm counting down the calendar days to retirement, but I really prefer to count working days - only 297 more, not counting annual leave days. Can you tell I'm excited - can't wait to winter in Florida.
