We have had a fun day so far. I am now sitting in my hotel room, enjoying the castle view from the contemporary while I wait for wishes to start. We went to EPCOT earlier today, I was taking pictures at Innoventions to help with my swaps. We only rode the TTA, although the parks were not that crowded, we were just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere and DH was enjoying his new camera that takes much better oictures than the old one. I can't wait to see the fireworks from the room though. When I scrap this stuff I will be sure to post it.

We love the Mad Hatter. That is a cool nose he has. My youngest was afraid of the characters, so we didn't get as much picture taking as I would have liked. He did say if we go back, he would pose for pictures. Sorry you have to come back home so soon.

I've finished my Pet Swap, that was my most important goal this weekend. I am almost done with the embellishment swap. Just waiting for some one to give number of flowers to bag up.
The family room is still clean. My kitchen will be once I do up the dishes. Laundry however is sitting in baskets waiting to be folded. I need new socks, so I thought if I put them in a dark room, well you know....

We had breakfast with the Mad Hatter. DS5 wouldn't go near him. Finally towards the end of breakfast DS5 walked up to him and said "I don't like you, your toooo loud" I died laughing it was sooo funny.

On our honeymoon to DL, the Mad Hatter gave us a present...a tea bag!

He's a great character. I've seen new pictures of Marie (Aristocats) and Clarisse (the female chipmunk from the Chip & Dale cartoon "Two Chips and a Miss." They have been appearing in Tokyo and Paris for awhile but WDW recently got the costumes.

I give up and I'm starting fresh tomorrow. DH did however remove my hard drive from the broken computer. Ya'll remember that episode right?! Well it is now securely plugged into my laptop and I am moving stuff over.
Next step is to copy all of my pics onto DVD's.

I'm going to try to call and see if they can just call in a prescription. I really don't want to drive up there, spend $15 on a co-pay just for them to tell me he needs an antibiotic. But DD is sick too so they may want to see her.

UGH, know where you will be spending most of your day, in the car. Sorry to hear about the sick little ones. My eldest had step last week and his throat was soar again on Saturday. Luckily it must have been something else, because he is okay now. They sleeping in, 2 hour delay here.

So, I had stopped making lists here, cause I thought I could keep up at home...nah, was getting more done on those list weeks, so I'm back again...

List for Monday:
Laundry
post office
lunch with the girls
prep for painting classes tomorrow
work on swaps

My DS came home with chicken pox last week...SURPRISE!!! He had a spot on his face, but I thought it was a pimple...then Friday he drops the bomb "Mom, do you know what chicken pox look like? Ummm, yes...why? Well, I kind of have these spots and....:scared1: " OK, he is 14, and I only see his head and hands this time of year, and I had NO IDEA!!! So, he is out till Wednesday probably...sheesh... But the vaccine is keeping the case really mild, so that's good. Now waiting for DS18 to start with them, and he starts back to college in 2 weeks, just long enough to incubate these puppies... He is on the look out though, so hopefully we can quarantine him at first site... Being a mom is soooo much fun....

Sorry to hear about the chicken pox. I was just an infant when I had them, so I don't remember them. I do remember watching my sister & brother being agony 'cause they weren't allowed to scratch.

So here's hoping for the case to remain mild and DS18 to NOT get them at all.

Well, school nurse called. My eldest has fluid in his ears and needs an appointment with the doctor. Got one for tomorrow, but they are trying to work us in today. At least it is not the pox. Going to request some blood work on the guy. He has been sick on and off since Thanksgiving. Not good.

Anyway, off to work on my Epcot Element swap. This one is due before the AK/MK even though I signed up for those first.

I didn't take them. Mom's car died, again, so I had to take her to the Navy Base to get copies of her record for a DR. appt she has Wed. That took all morning. Then we came home, had lunch and her car was ready so we went to the post office, got her car, she went to work and I went to pick up the kids.
Tomorrow is goodwill and CVS for more meds. Good thing they are in the same direction. I hope DS5 can go to school tomorrow.
They are both doing better they just can't lay down. So we'll be couching it again tonight. Figures they get sick when DH isn't around.

Yeah, I just took the trash out! Good lord was it cold! My hands were frozen by the time I got back in the house. I feel sorry for the trash guys tomorrow. I really hope they cancel school.

Hi Buffy! I found you guys. I might have you join you because I can't keep up with Binny's organizing thread from the CB where we are doing a new room every week. LOL Good lord I think that woman must be on speed. :rotfl: Love her though.

I think I can handle a new room every month a little better. :) We don't have a family room, so I'll call it living room. And since we did a major clean up in it in November including furniture swapping & blinds, I'm in pretty good shape in that room, so I should be able to catch up to the rest of you.

I hear ya there.. I was going to go to the grocery first thing.. But I watch 2 little ones (3 & 5) and I'm not taking them out in this weather.. Yuck! They have to go to help me get the kids picked up...but I don't want them in the cold air for too long..they are already battling colds as it is..

It's a whopping 17 here..and I saw on the news it was closer to yuck numbers in your direction.. I'm sorry.. Stay warm!!!

It's around 3º now but the wind chill will be as low as -20º at times. Can you believe we have school too?! The poor high school kids get picked up starting at 5:45. Those poor kids! I drive mine and I can just dump them at the door, but DS5 has short days on Thurs and Fri so mom is coming over to watch DD while I pick up DS5 and Chille's DS5. I don't want to drag her out either. Good thing I went to Walmart yesterday.

Off to start the car! OK it sounds horrible!!!

I complain about 7:10am.. for the elementary and 8:10am for secondary to just catch the bus.. OMG! I would so be driving my kids at that horrible hour! I'm pretty lucky.. the bus drivers pick up at my house and only my kids (we have no neighbors w/ kids on our street)... and they told the kids to stay in the house til the round the corner...and they would wait for them at the drive... so far I have only had to yell at the secondary bus driver once! Yes, I yelled!

The high school starts at 7:20 but it services 9 districts so in order to absorb that many kids, 100 buses and 4000 students, they have to stagger to drop off times.
The elementary school starts at 8:15 but the first pick up is at 7:30. I drive the kids now but last year if it was this cold I could stand inside the front door and watch the bus turn at my mom's house so I would rush the kids out when I saw her.

Chille's DH is on the Board of Ed and will he get an earful when he comes to pick up his DS5. There is no reason for them to have school today. I would have kept mine home but they are going to miss 7 days on our trip in March and the school is already mad because DS10 will miss the state mastery tests. (Like I care) So they need to be there.

(cough cough sneeze...sheesh) Took down and washed the curtains...they were a little...errr....dusty....Attacking the fan and doing another dust and vacuum in there, then the room is DONE!!!
