It's rare that I remember my dreams, and I hate that..

For two nights in a row, sometime last week, I had dreams in which I had a dream.
Like. One night I had a dream that I got into a fight with Jaimie over a green dress [haha, I didn't tell her this yet.. let's see if she reads it..] and then I woke up. But, I was actually waking up in another dream. In part of it I even mentioned the dream I had about the dress to my friend.

I never have dream that are odd and weird. It's mostly all possible.
It's like a fictional version of my life.
I remember most of my dreams, I can tell you about dreams I had when I was really little.

The other night I dreamed I was keeping a family of dogs in my gym locker and keeping them alive by feeding them my cherios. And then this guy came over, but I didn't want him to se the dogs so I was like: 'Um this is the girls locker room, go away.' and then he cussed me out and left.
Then I took all the dogs to my house which was a giant farm. I asked my mom how many puppies had died and she said two and I was happy because I thought more would die.
And thats all I remember, but I know there was more.


I remember like 50% of my dreams, but they're all incredibly bizarre.

Harrison Ford was trying to kill me with a remote controll. Apparently, he was not pleased with the way I was taking care of his children . . .
I ended up missing Spanish class for that babysitting job.
I ran away, in tears, and called my mom.
I was so scared that I was going to get in trouble for cutting Spanish class.
But my mom realized that I nearly died, so I didn't have to go back to school.

I honestly don't know the meaning of having a lucid dream. I looked it up once. I think I had one once before.

The guy that I used to like had a girlfriend. (In my dream.) I was heartbroken. Then, in the hallway at school, in front of the guy, I was debating with myself as to whether or not I was dreaming. I pinched myself, but didn't feel anything. Okay, I'm dreaming. Then I realized that my heart was hurting. Now I'm not. I pinched myself again, and so on and so forth.

Hmm, a Few days ago I had a pretty crazy one:
I was walking in my school hallway going to the bathroom, and i came across this girl laying on the floor in the middle of the hallway in a chicken suit, playing with the little packets of ketchup that you get from mcdonalds, or burger king. And then all of a sudden my mom's boss came skipping through the hallway singing songs from the newer version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Most deffinately odd...

That might be a good idea.

The human brain is a real piece of work, but to dream you must be in REM, and to change dreams that many times, to have a new dream every 2-3 seconds would make you crazy. you have to have a lengthy dream that your brain can play with. it would work itself crazy having that many dreams in one night. The average teenager needs 8-10 hours of sleep a night. That would be 3000 dreams a night, if I'm doing the math correctly.

The reason the average person doesn't remember their dreams is because the average person doesn't have fantastic control over their subconscious, and their subconscious doesn't like to mix with their conscious. A person lives in their conscious, but when you sleep, your conscious sleeps too. When you wake up, your conscious takes over and your subconscious goes back to a voyeuristic mode. During the day your subconscious takes in information and at night it plays with it. It files it away into your RAM (random access memory bank) to be used at a later date.

You could have a full length dream in 3 seconds, but it wouldn't be intricate, it wouldn't be fun, it wouldn't be anything worth dreaming. And your mind doesn't like that. Dreams are your minds way of relaxing and playing. It doesn't want to rush through them. A full dream lasts about ten minutes with a minute to two minute lag in between.

You dream all night, every night. Even if you don't remember them, you dream. when you stop dreaming you go insane or you die. You need to dream, and everyone does, even if they think they don't.

i had a CRAZY dream last night


First, it was around where I live, but not real. It was like a huge building made out of pebbles that were like super-glued together. There were like steamrollers going around the building, and I had to take this kid back to his mom on the other side, but the steamrollers kept coming cause they couldn't see us. So this guy runs up and yells, "I'll stop them!" And he throws some sort of liquid explosive on the cliff behing the building. So we all yell, "NOOOO" and run inside and the rocks fom the hillside like collapse on the steamrollers. Then, some of the glue got into the building cause it's made out of pebbles, and apparently someone messed up the gluing. So we all run to the front of the building, and the back half explodes. And there's nothing we can do, so I walk home with two of my friends, cause it's like a nice spring day.

ok well thhis was the last weird dream I had. It was 2 days ago, the dream I had last night was just me shopping.
Ok so the whole band and chior were are disney. So me and my friends were in line for Pirates of the Caribean. But it wasnt normal Pirates. We got on and in our boat. It was me, my friend Melissa and Mickey, then these two boys Will and Lee. So we went but it was a roller coster and when we got off we went to big thunder railroad. Of course it wasn't noraml and was a huge steal rollercoster. And instead of a train it was a chair lift. (Like the skiing one). So me Will and Lee went into this chairlift. And we didn't wear seat belts. So were going and will and Lee start singing. We somehow make it out alive and I go on again with Melissa. This time I wear my seat belt. So we keep walking and somehow we meet up with my other frineds Paige and Lauren. SO we go into a haunted house maze. (Not Haunted Manison). And were walking through it and its creepy. And then their was one section where we get into a cart and go around. SO somehow we all seperate and meet up with my sister inside the Haunted house. No she wasn't there before. SHe didn't even come to disney with the band. So we get to the last room of the maze. And I see my old History teacher sitting at a desk. In a cape. ANd he tells usd that we have to find the way out or find the special surpirse. So me Paige and Lauren and Amy are looking for the way out. we look and look and look for a way out but couldn't find it. SO Mr. Leonard (History Teacher) gives us the clue about the prize. He said "You'll look ten years younger". So all of a sudden a cabinet appears. So All of a sudden my friend Kelly appears. And looks through the cabinet. And she finds the pirze. Its a 10 day vacation to disney world. So now that we found the prize. We ask him what is the way out. And he goes over to a huge red button and tell Paige to stand on the x. Paige does and he presses the button. And a trap door opens. And Paige goes down. Mr. Leonard tells us to jump down the trap droor. And so i jump down. I look behind me and my friend Rachel is behind me. Um Rachel wasn't there before. So we land in this under ground lake. And when we return back to our hotel room. My friend Kelly calls my mom. So kelly is now like my sister and my mom tells her to give the prize to lauren because we would be there during my birthday. But then I said I wouldn't mind being there during my birthday. And my mom said she couldn'tstand being there on my birthday because my grandma died on my birthday, And i said I know mom but maybe it would take our minds off of things. <My mom said that the real reason my grandma died is because Mickey Mouse killed her. SO me and my friends went to beat up Mickey and then I woke up.

I remember another dream where my family was in a hotel and all of my cats were with us. Then I said "Where's Jasmine, and Bambi?" My dad screams. My mom said "I hear Jasmine!" Then a few years ago I had this dream that Constantine from American Idol was my music teacher in school and we had to go through all these creppy tunnle things under the school and my BFF Abby had this ball and I kept going "Abby, give me the ball" and she wouldn't give it to me. Then we got to the end of the tunnel and there was like this window and I could see Constantine wearing a black and white striped shirt with a red beret and scarf...

I have very vivid dreams, and at any one point during the night - while dreaming, I can remember all the previous dreams as well. But I only remember a small portion of 'em come morning, and I totally forget them if I am awakened suddenly or am in a hurry to go somewhere after I get up.
Unfortunately, I get awakened suddenly a lot, because of my little brothers getting up earlier than I, and being decidedly noisy all morning. eh.

Just a few days ago, I had a really complex dream that I managed to remember as I awoke, and I was able to actually write it down. 1022 words worth, and yet there was more to go. =)

Probably one of the weirdest dream in my recent memory... is where there were these royal, uber-beings running away from.. some sort of assassins. The uber-beings, in order to hide from their attackers, turned into tomatos (still on the plant). I and (random person) were desperately searching through a big patch of tomato plants, trying to find which ones were intelligent.

I hardly ever remember my dreams after I have woken up, but I do remember nightmares or good dreams. I remember more of my dreams that I had when I was a child, but now that I'm older I can hardly ever recall what I was dreaming the night before.

When I was little I had an allergy to white rice that made me have terrible nightmares; I used to wake up screaming, or sobbing so hard that my pillow was soaked. It sounds weird but my pediatrician assured my parents that it was white rice.

Common dreams that I have had include versions of Charles Dicken's: A Christmas Carol, ones where I'm driving a monster truck, or ones where I am falling and then I hit ground and wake up.

Okay I guess I'll tell you some of the dreams that I remember vividly now....

1: Once I had this dream that a giant orange squid with a jelly fish on its head was attacking my house, so I grabbed my little blue wagon and put my dog and cat in there. My older sister and I wheeled the wagon to our friend Kim's house, but her house wasn't where it was supposed to be and for some reason every time we got to the door we kept appearing back at our house. Then it started raining, except the rain was white instead of clear, and it whited out everything and I woke up.

2: Another time I had a dream that my dad was taking my brother, sisters, and me for a climb up the Grand Canyon (which is weird because I've never even been to the Grand Canyon). When we got to the top of the canyon my brother stepped forward to look over the edge, and my dad put his arm in front of him and said: ''Don't. You will fall.'' Then my dad pushed us all over the edge and I was falling I saw my dad leap over the edge, laughing hysterically. That dream was a scary one.

3: Another time, I had a dream I was driving in a truck with a really hot boy and a bunch of his friends. The music was blaring really loudly, and everyone was laughing, shouting and drinking beer and vodka. I was alone in the back of the truck with the hot guy and we were so drunk that he touched my leg we started to make out. His friends didn't even notice because they were so wasted, but then all of a sudden I woke up (in the dream) in the back of the truck under a blanket with the hot guy, who was snoring away. But my crush was all of a sudden there, in the back of the truck and he got really mad because he had apparently liked me and he ran off to get high. Don't even ask me how I dreamed up this piece of work, it is definitely NOT from experience; I wouldn't do something stupid like that.

4: Okay, this dream I had the night after watching the movie: Secret Window. I was driving to my cabin on the lake (which is also weird, because I don't have a cabin near a lake, and I'm not old enough to drive yet) and when I got there, there was purple dinosaurs that came from the lake and started slapping the house with their flippers and biting the chimney with their sharp teeth. I went inside the house and turned into Sheik, then I started punching the purple dinos through a tiny window in the attic. Eventually the chimney gave way from their biting, and when they dipped their heads inside the giant hole it left in the roof, I kicked them so hard that they flew all the way to the Sahara Desert. I woke up with a muscle spasm in my calf at 3 in the morning after that dream.

5: One dream that I had, I dreamed I was in Wal-Mart and the floor looked like a brain and I was apparently in my mom's brain. Some mad scientist was chasing me and my mom (my mom is inside her own brain?) and my mom's voice kept echoing for me to run away. I woke up (or so I thought) and I was looking at my mom, and I could see the mad scientist in her eyes, running around. And then I really woke up, lol.

Dreams are the strangest things. Wow, I wrote alot, I doubt anybody is even going to read my entire post! :laughing: Oh well, at least it can be a written record of my strange dreams.

A few weeks ago, I had a bizare dream where I was in health class and for some reason we were watching a bizare Bob Marley documentary. And in the documentary, it talked about Bob Marley being a techno musician and believing in aliens. At one of his concerts, he killed all his audience members because he thought they were aliens. Then he was put on a death sentance.

Today I remembered some of my past dreams, lmao...

My family and I were driving to Disneyland, but on the way there it didn't look anything like Anaheim. Then we got to Disneyland, but it wasn't there. It was just dirt. This guy appeared and told us that they had tore everything down so they could rebuild it. :p

Another one I remembered was I was in Paris all by myself. I was staying in this hotel, and to get out you had to go out through a parking garage. So I went down out through the garage and said bye to the guy in the pay booth, then started walking on the sidewalk. It kind of looked like that scene in Ferris Buehler where they do the valet parking. Anyways. after that, I was at Disneyland Paris. It was sunny, and there was almost no one there. I went on Dumbo, but it was like a super high version of Dumbo. The dream ended with me looking over the park with the sun in my face.... ah....

I just remembered another one. XD My and my friends were in Paris, staying in a hotel. We had opened all the windows in the room, and we kept saying how glad we were to be back in Paris. Then my one friend said she wanted to go to Disney World, but we missed the boat to the Magic Kingdom. (That's one long boat ride) So, she rented one of the MouseBoats, but she fell out. She started drowning so me and my other friend jumped in to save her, and we swam her to the docks at Wilderness Lodge. Then my band director showed up, and the dream was over. It was weird. XD

This morning I had the strangest dream ever. I was sitting in my room and the phone rang, I picked it up and Simon Cowell was on the phone. I had just said "hi" when the line went dead. I kept saying "Hello" I woke up a few minutes later and I was still saying hello.

LOL But I do remember one where I was in a different house in the forest with different parents and I was standing in my laundry room. There was a foot of clothes around my feet and I heard my dog I have now (a weenie dog) and a dog I had been wanting at the time (a golden retriever) barking their heads off at nothing. Then an evil laugh came from no where really loud and I went and sat down on my swing set outside. Suddenly I saw yellow. Then it went away. :confused3 I heard my "dad" come inside and say "Im home!" But then he started to make all these wierd grunting noises like he was struggling. In my dream I was like, oh great. He is going to come out here and be like a warewolf or something ane eat me. So i forced myself to wake up. All of sudden I had to go to the bathroom soooooooooooooo bad. LOL That used to be the only reason why I had bad dreams when I was little. bc i had to go to the bathroom. Now all my dreams are little tid-bits of things from past dreams or just random stuff. You said that you rarely ever remember your dreams ,but once I read in a book that you you dream like 6-8 dreams in a night but you only remember the dreams that you wake up during. nothing really but I never considered the waking up during it to remember it thing. that is very true. I guess I don't wake up as much as I used to during the night, maybe that's why I haven't had many dreams that I remember lately. :confused3 who knows? But almost every time I have a dream, I have some kind of flashback from another dream but when I wake up, I don't remember having that flashback ever. But in my dream I remember it fully. i dno i've had one where 2 burglars are coming to kill my mum and me and my dad know and are hiding behind the door the burglars come in and start painting her face like a cheetah the black spots are poisonous then i alays wake up.

i've had that dream repeatedly since i was 4(before my sister was born)

Last night I dremt that I was on a bus going to Canada, and for some reason we were passing through Colorado, because we were supposed to go to Vermont first, to go to our hotel. So, for some reason I don't know, me and this boy jump out of the bus on to a little mountain. We climb through the mountains of Colorado when it starts to snow. After a while, we come across a log cabin. We stop there and find my family there. We stay there and get winter jackets and clothes there and hot chocolate for a while when we decide to leave. But it was 6:00pm and I didn't want to go out there in the dark. But the boy said he knew the way.... it was only an hour. He knew it because he and his cousin did this kind of stuff all the time. So I trusted him. We met some stray dogs, and they were nice lol. They followed us through the woods and mountains. We kept on going, until we reached Canada's border. Then I woke up.

Although, when I was like 6 I had a dream that my family and I were going to see Santa Claus in the mall and my granndparents were coming for some really weird reason...and there was a bush outside of my grandparents house and i saw red eyes in it and i was like "santa!" but then Dracula came out...it was freaky. I couldn't sleep for days...

You said that you rarely ever remember your dreams ,but once I read in a book that you you dream like 6-8 dreams in a night but you only remember the dreams that you wake up during. Everyone says that they're having the best dream when they wake up during it but actually they wouldnt have even remembered that dream if they have finished it.

I reallly don't wake up during dreams.
Which is why I usually don't remember them.
