Purchasing Annual Passes for Partners

I'm a DVC member and wanted to get some feedback from other DVC members about purchasing annual passes for their partners using the DVC discount. Did you have to provide documentation and if so, what did you have to show? Any information posted is appreciated.

I'm not sure...but if you go to the DVC member site, it has a paragraph about who is eligible. I recall there were stipulations about persons living with you...DS has a different last name than mine...child of divorced parents so I was checking about that. I'm thinking you should be able to buy your DP an annual pass provided you live in the same house, but not sure if you're not living together. If you can't find the answer on the website, you could call MS and ask.

Yes you can purchase an AP for your partner. As long as you both reside at the same address. My step-daughter and her partner have no problem doing this.

What proof do they require that you reside at the same address?

My daughter and her partner do just fine by showing their licenses that carry the same address.

BTW, my wife is originally from Lafayette. We hope to visit soon - missing all that good cooking!

They say a drivers license but mine's Louisiana(our correct addy) and Rick's is Indiana and I still used my DVC discount for both. No questions asked. Come to think of it, I don't even think we got them out to show the CM, just the DVC card.

My partner and I were fine. I bought them for the entire household - the two of us and the two teens. No worries.
