Getting around

We will be camping at FW in January. I"ve read of long wait times for a night bus. Is it possible to drive and park at the other resorts? How late do the buses run to FW from other resorts?

The buses run pretty late at night. Yes, they do get crowded late coming from the parks, but if you park at another resort, it may take you the same amount of time due to having to switch buses at TTC.

If you're going after the Christmas holidays, you might not run into heavy crowds. Another option would be to park at individual parks. That way you don't have to worry about the buses or ferrys.

Hi TomM,

If saving time is your main consideration then the best rule
of thumb is:

MK - take boat from dock
AK & BB - take bus from settlement depot

everything else drive to it.

With all other destinations you have to go to the TTC and swap buses.
It is much less time consuming to drive to those parks or resorts.
