Concierge selections?

Has anyone experienced Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, CA through the Concierge Collection?

We are looking at combining a Disneyland trip (Grand Californian) with a beach vacation and would like to use points for both hotel stays...

We have an unexpected points surplus this year after we cancelled a Disneyland Paris trip scheduled for this past Oct. :-(
