I was just thinking about this lately.
Almost all my friends cried in Harry Potter 4.. I didn't even feel the urge to.
But I recently saw the Pursuit Of Happyness, and I cried during that .
So, what movies make you cry?

My Girl:
Hello? Her mother is dead and her only friend dies...
Tru Confessions:
It's just sad.. I mean really. It's about a mentally challenged kid who has a father who's not completely patient with him. It makes me BAWL everytime.
Ladder 49:
He dies doing his call of duty. That's just sad =(

Yeah, that's not that sad at all.
But, I do know people who cried during it..
I have a friend who cries practically every time she goes to the movies.

I've cried in both of the Rugrat movies.
The first one because Tommy sings that song about being ignored and he sleeps on the floor.
The second one because Chucky sings "I want a mum" and it's incredibly sad.

I came THIS close to crying during Click. It was dreadful, I mean the ending just basically scarred me. Like the movie was good at the start.. and then it's maaah.
Like my friends brother said about watching Click:
Watch most of the first three quarters and then turn it off. Because after that it gets emotional and has morals.
It cheap, I mean you think you're watching a comedy and then BOOM! you're crying.

well i'm not much of a cryer but i did cry at
--The Notebook. just the whole theme of it is depressing.
-- Tru Confessions. it's a depressing movie with a happy ending.
--Titanic i almost did.
-- Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
-- Gilmore girls. whenever rory A)gets dumped b)has a fight with someone or c) does something that she will later regret i cry. and when luke and lorelai see each other at the grocery store. that made me ball.
never cried at rent or hp 4. their not really that sad.

I read the books first, and I thought the movie really sucked compared to the literary version.
Anyways.. the movie that makes me cry is The Notebook, every time I see it I end up crying. I actually thought that the movie was better than the book in that case.

I've cried at soo many movies. Especially Disney movies. I can't even watch the beginging of Finding Nemo anymore. When I was little they didn't bother me, but now when I watch them. Why do they have to make them so sad? The only movie I ever bawled in was Homeward Bound. They go so far and you think the dog didn't make it. Haha, I'm a wimp at sad animal movies.

The second rugrats movie where Chuckie starts sings I want a Mom that will last forever is enough to make anyone have tears...
And a pokemon movie, don't get me wrong, this movie was SAD. Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Lucario feels betrayed by Sir Aaron who locks him inside a staff for over a thousand years. When Lucario is freed, he finds out his story adn what actually happened, and then Lucario dies while trying to save Mew and the Tree of Beginning. :sad1:
Pretty much any horse movie makes me cry. Not all-out bawling, mind ye - I don't do that - more like getting all choked up and eyes going blurry. I love horses so much, that watching a movie with 'em is just too much. It's ironic, you'd think I would love horse movies. That's what my family has always thought. But I don't, they're too depressing.
Finding Neverland was pretty darn sad. So bittersweet. I didn't cry when watching it, but I nearly did. I looove it though.
Then there's the other end of the spectrum... Movies that practically make me cry tears of pure geeky joy. :goodvibes
Mostly, that applies to superhero movies...
Superman Returns,
Batman Begins,
Spiderman ... etc.
aaaand othersuch lovely things as
The Lord of the Rings
Star Wars
The Chronicles of Narnia ...
heh. I love going to such movies with my sisters.

But I cried more when I read it.
We read that at school... nobody seemed to notice that i was crying, though. Thank god. I forget why I cried... I remember being so suprised that the book was supposed to have gone over a like 20 year period or something. That was one of the better books I have ever had to read due to required reading.

There are only 3 movies I cry every time I watch them: Hardball (the end during the eulogy), Flight 93, and I Am Sam.
I cried once during Bid Daddy (they took him away, it was sad!) and once during Stepmom (the end). I've only cried watching them once, I was fine from then on.
I'm really not a crier.

Spirit- well it's about a mustang snatched from his heard, treated like dirt captured by a human who he thought he could trust he sees his heard again something else bad happens then he says goodbye to the human he can trust and takes his mare which was very sad. oh the mare nearly dies so yeah it was all about tragic happening to an ok yeah cartoon horse but still if you could have a dry eye all the weay through that then you are heartless(which i have been accused of being and it's not to bad but still)
Racing Stripes- zebra wants to be a racehorse. tragic past of family with horses blah blah blah. it has the word racehorse in it, course i'm gonna cry.
Dreamer- i couldnt watch it after readin it was about an i jjured racehorse and left the room(in tears:rolleyes: i'm a big pathetic mess when it comes to racehorses)
Bambi
Dumbo
race 1 at chepstow on the 27th decmeber 06- after seeing 4 horses(2 admitedly galloping through the finish line unhurt infact had it not have fallen and been jockeyless the one would have 1) fall. especially after 2 fell indentically and while 1 got up and the jockey trootted it down so he was fine the other was still down when the camera passed it(i was glad to later see it being walked by it's trainer admittedly limping badly and untacked but other than that unhurt)- not a moie but my nan recoreded it for me so i shall call it one:goodvibes

Did you manage to watch the whole thing? The end is actually really satisfying. I, too, tend to avoid racehorse stories (which is half of 'em), 'cause they're so stressful and usually end in tragedy.
