Okay do we can use Canadian pennies in the machines but need American quarters....
Where do you get the American quarters? Is there a place near the parks that you can get rolls of quarters? Is there somewhere in Canada that you can get rolls of American quarters (I am thinking not)?
Thanks! :D

Use American pennies, Canadian pennies rarely turn out. American pennies made 1982 and earlier are made of pure copper and work the best. Search through your change from now until you go. We managed to collect quite a few "sets" before we left. To clean your pennies before you leave, use some white vinegar and salt, rinse and dry thoroughly. When you're in WDW ask for 4 quarters change instead of a dollar bill. There are a few change machines sprinkled throughout the park too.

I just went to guest services and asked for a roll of quarters. They were very nice and were more than willing to sell me a roll.

In the meantime, keep checking your change here to keep an eye out. It is amazing how much American coin is in our system if you watch. I started about 3 months ahead and just kept throwing it in a compartment in the car. By the time we left I had 6 quarters, several dimes and nickels, and about 20 pennies. We just asked for extra change whenever we needed to restock the pressed penny supply.
