You don't say when you are going, but every year my wife and I try to do the EPCOT food and wine festival sans kids.
We tend to eat at counter service restaurants with the kids, so choose sit down ones without. Generally we do everything at a very slow pace, and I tend to stop and enjoy / notice things much more. Take a look at this web site for overlooked attractions: http://allearsnet.com/tp/ola.htm
Just ask yourself what you don't do with the kids (Hall of Presidents, lots of shopping) and do those things.
Spas and massages are nice. Sitting by the pool all day. Staying at the parks late during EMH (when my kids would normally be too tired).

DH & I just went for our 15th anniversary alone and it was wonderful. We ate at romantic, sit-down restaurants and went shopping and took things at a much more leisurely pace. We went 11/30-12/3 and did all of the Christmas festivities which was also fun and romantic. Happy Anniversary:thumbsup2

I have a 6 year old son who's been once so far, however I have been 2x's with out him, lol. An adult trip is a totally different experience. Don't get me wrong I love both but adult trips are much needed :)
I always try to schedule sleeping in. That in alone is a vacation to me.
have a great trip.

I've only had a few solo days, but just doing whatever you want whenever you want feels luxurious. :) I did several things that don't interest DD much - backlot tour at MGM, my favorite ride about a thousand times, drinks at the bar, just sitting somewhere with a snack and people-watching.......
Anything you've thought looked interesting but which got axed from a previous trip because the kids were along, start with that.
Enjoy!

Some of my favorite table service restaurants are Kona Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch), and the Biergarten buffet (if that counts as table service).

You are going to have a great time. It is magically different without kids or grandkids. Some people think that adults only can't have fun but that isn't the case at all. My dh and i have a blast. We stay at POR because it is beautiful and romantic. We love eating at nice places (Thanks to the dining plan). Try Yatchsman steak house or Le Cellier. Enjoy yourself and make lots of memoiries.
