Crowd wise, July is NOT a good month, but overall, my personal favorite is July because I like the heat and humidity (call me strange rofl). The crowds don't bother me because I have learned over the years when the best time is to go on each ride. lol.

When are the best times to go on the rides?

during parade or fireworks like if you are spending two days in a park go to the parade and fireworks both in one night then the next night go during the parade and fireworks

or if you are in animal kingdom they have an afternoon parade and that is it the is the best time to go on ridess there even though there aren't many

Magic kingdom- during the afternoon parade and the night parade and firworks show

epcot-they only have fireworks so that is the bestt time to go

mgm- during the parade once again there aren't many rides here

I like the suggestions but i need to consider school bc i cant miss it.

12-29-2006, 02:34 PM
End of April going into May.
It's not busy, because Spring break ends before you go.

Also the first week of December. It's a good time to go, because it's like this dead season before the Xmas ru sh.

12-29-2006, 03:13 PM
I love late August.

12-29-2006, 03:33 PM
if i remember it's between November-December (week after thanksgiving to to the week before xmas when it's the week before christmas that's when everyone comes because school ends for everyone about the same time)

Anyone want to explain why Sep. is the most voted for so far? Is there like no one there or something and why?

12-31-2006, 06:27 PM
I've only been in April, so i picked that, but my mom went (without me :sad2: ) in September and said it was about the same. I've had other family members go too, but I never asked them that.

12-31-2006, 10:14 PM
The least crowded times I've been were september and april. but I dont really remember when I went in april because I was only 4.

Food and wine festival, MNSSHP.

I really want to go in october. but the rest of my family wants to go for christmas. But I love it in christmas, so I really cant complain.

Jan. & Sept. It's like, dead.

01-01-2007, 01:56 PM
I say September and October because all the kids are back in school and parents say it is too early to take off from school. Also like Sparx said that the Food and Wine Festival is at Epcot Magic Kingdom. My family loves Epcot because we would get the food from anywhere and then watch Off Kilter in Canada and The British Invasion in England. MNSSHP is great for younger kids and teens because free candy and no lines on rides. Thats just my thought.

Think about the months that don't have any big holidays, like January (after New Year's), April, June, August, and September.

01-01-2007, 03:01 PM
I like going in January.

01-01-2007, 03:03 PM
Wait. Now that I think about it, in March and April, you get all of the Spring Break crowds. The best month is probably right after New Year's in January.

01-01-2007, 09:08 PM
well the thing is that my parents don't want to take time off of school but if it really is the best during then, I may be able to talk her into it. :confused3 who knows?

Anyone have any suggestions for eating places? I heard there are some AMAZING!! places. But VERY expensive.

01-08-2007, 09:53 AM
Ohana's = delish.

01-08-2007, 11:00 AM
i dont remember much but my mom said the best time to go is in february. the temps are mild and the crowds are low.

we went this past september and loved it. we went the second week i think and other than the 'love bugs', the crowds werent that bad and the temps were warm but not miserbly warm..........:)

chef mickeys-buffet style, very yummy, you see lots of characters, about $25+ a person.

Feburary and end of January. ;)

I much prefer going when school is in. January is great. There are still people at the parks but most of the time there are practically no lines to wait in. If you go when school is out you spend a lot of time standing in line and also it rains much more in the summer. Sept is not bad for crowds (if you stay away from labor day weekend) but it is hurricane season so you are taking a chance that the weather may be bad. January is best, I think. I like to eat at the steakhouse in Canada (at Epcot). The Sci Fi Drive in theatre at MGM studios has a fun atmosphere.

The first time I came to the United States, I was like 4, my aunt took my mom and I to Disney.

01-13-2007, 05:02 PM
I kind of think my parents are thinking of going like the day after school gets out. Is taht a good idea. We get out the 24th of May

01-13-2007, 05:44 PM
Alot of people have said January, But I was there in the beginning of January and it was insanely packed after New years, im sure it dies down some near the end of the month, but between the end of new years, and other ocuntries being on different schedules, and the marathon it was mroe crowded than when we were their for spring break.

01-13-2007, 08:36 PM
We've always gone mid-August. It's REALLY hot and humid but to me it just wouldn;t be WDW if I wasn't buying a water bottle just to pour it on me...

But this time we're going June 2... Cant wait only 4 Months 2 weeks and 6 days!!!!

If you go in August there's normally the free dining plan.. hehe
