I've seen new 2007 name badges at laughingplacestore.com and Gifts of a Lifetime. Has anyone who has been to WDW recently seen them in the parks?
If so, where and how much?

I would really like to get one for my son. We leave on 1/10 and I think I've waited too long to get one ahead of time online. I also emailed Disney Merchandising and they do not do them by mail order, only at the parks.

Thanks!

The nametags are usually found in the jewerly store in MK on Main Street, The 5 & 10 in MGM, WOD in DTD as well as the Christmas shop in DTD.

The 2007 ones have been scarce lately. I need 8 myself and haven't been able to get them the past few weeks.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to order it and have it sent to your home. I would order within the next day or so though.

Have a great trip

Where are you staying? I'll be there next weekend and might be able to get one made and leave it at your hotel for you.

What are special about the Name tags? I have 5 children was wondering if it is kinda like the pin thing?? My dd is only 2 and I am starting a pin collection for her. I am also new to the boards:)

The name tags are not only cute but it makes character interaction easier when the characters already know their names.

Ohiofamily - My son has Cerebral Palsy and although he talks, it's hard for a lot of people to understand him. I was thinking that at some point he will get asked his name and it would be great for him to have the name tag on. Plus I think it's just fun.

I've looked at getting one from a couple different websites, but I'm just afraid I won't get it in time. Both siad that it probably would be shipped for a week. If it came after we left, it would just be a waste of money, KWIM?

Ducklite - Thank you for the offer. That is really sweet. We are not staying on property though. We're actually staying with my parents in Ocala and just driving down a couple different days.

I guess I could order one and have it sent to my parents. Hmmmm......

I haven't checked in awhile, but name badges were $6.39 with tax. This included the engraving.

Well they are definately cute!! If you don't have them sent to your parent's house, I'd check it out when you get in the park. Have fun on your trip... we'll be there that same week. Look for my LGMH keychain :)
Best Wishes

JUST A QUICK HEADS UP ON ORDERING BADGES WITH NAMES ON THEM. I ORDERED AND RECEIVED OURS FROM LAUGHINGPLACE, AND ALTHOUGH THE BADGES ARE NICE, SHIPPING WAS VERY SLOW, 2 WEEKS PLUS. SO IF YOU NEED THEM IN A HURRY, BE CAREFUL. HAPPY NEW YEAR !party:
