Hello Guys I'M New

Hi, I'm Dave a racewalker. This Jan will my first walking marathon, the DisneyWorld full marathon. Last January my lady Erica, the Wild Gerbil and a girl friend did the half. We are doing the full together this year and next year we will do the goofy together.

Is anyone else walking the full this year?? We plan to finish just under six hours. Erica is slower than I am so we are going at her pace.

We will be there from the 1st till the 12th and plan to do the party again at the pleasure island after the race. We are staying at the coronado resort. Would love to meet other walkers for dinner and stuff.

There are quite a few doing the event this year, many are walking, some doing a combo walk/run, run/walk...

You might step over to the Events/Competition side of the WISH forum and look for the weekly walkers/runners thread where you will find many participating in this event in a few days or some next year, others just working on the training part. We'd love to have you join in the fun. Stop by.
