I am taking my girlfriend to DW in May and need to find a hotel. We would love to stay on site, but its so hard to get a good rate at the ones we like. It seems like everything Disney offers is geared towards people with families. Can anyone help?

what hotels do you consider to be romantic?

WL, BW or BC - then you can rent the DVC part from a member and save you money.

however that say - these studios only have one queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.

if you need two queen beds then you only choice is OKW (which I love).

May is still pretty high - how about going in Sept?

May prices for a studio per night Sun -thurs (leaving on Fri)
OKW $100 ($10*10)
BCV $130 ($10 *13) could be $156 ($12 * 13)
BWV $130 ($10 *13) could be $156 ($12 * 13) or if you get lucky $110 ($10*11) could be $132 ($12 * 11)
VWL $130 ($10 *13) could be $156

Sept prices for a studio per night Sun-thurs (leaving on Fri)
OKW $80 ($10 * 8)
BCV $120 ($10 * 12) could be $144 ($12 * 12)
BWV $90 ($10 * 9) could be $108 ($12 *9) or preferred $120 ($10 * 12) could be $144 ($12*12)
VWL $120 could be $144

there is another one SSR it is close to DD you can walk to DD, PI if you want too from it.

forgot I happen to think that Pop Century (because of its lake) is romantic.

just depends upon what you and your girl friend think is romantic.

For offsite, how about the Celebration Hotel in Celebration. It is very quaint and pretty.

For more of a wow factor, how about Gaylord Palms?

Hope this helps.

What is your budget?

The GF RPC is very nice. Any room at the GF facing the MK is going to be romantic.

The BWI Innkeepers Club seems to be fairly kid free and the decor lends to romance.

I agree Spicey..walking down by that lake or on that bridge.. that is very romantic.. but I guess when someone doesn't have kids, maybe their version of romantic is different than ours ;)

I also think the Mansions section of PO are romantic...
