We are making a DIS/VMK youtube video! We are now putting it all together and you can help. Here on this thread, you can add suggestions, choose your favourite song to add to the video, and help with the layouts. If you'd like to add your own screenshot to the video, please read the above paragraph. UPDATES

12/28/06 - I have decided to divide our project into two videos, one girls, and one boys.
Our current task is to decide on music for each. We will then begin gathering photos from everyone and working on the images for the video. Our final task will be putting it all together.

Bump! Let's see.. if we get at least 15 votes we'll go with a small video with just those who would like to. If we get more, we could go bigger. Youtube videos are only allowed a length of ten minutes so it won't be two long, and we could always divide it up into a couple parts.

I also thought maybe we could do it like a yearbook, a few people on each page with newspaper-like print with some title like "most talented" for those who create cool rooms and graphics, "most generous" for those who give up their own time for others, and so on. In the end everyone will have a title!

While we're talking about this project, I'd like to ask, what songs would you want to use? I know we can't all decide on just one, so we could use the best parts of a few songs and make a little mix. I would love to use "Strangers like me" from Tarzan, but it was already used in a VMK video. We need to use songs that fit the entire theme, all of us being friends and such. Like one big family.

Two great songs I have that picture the video in my mind are "Nothing in This World" by paris Hilton (you may not like her, but it's a pretty good song to fit the video) and "Unwritten" by Natasha Beddingfield. They need to be fast, and nothing depressing.

Oh don't worry, we haven't started making the video yet except for the music suggestions and general ideas. The layout is another topic, I thought like a yearbook with newspaper print backgrounds and a few people on each page with perhaps different titles on the top of the page like I suggested earlier.

Then each group can have their own song. What about THAT? Perhaps we could get a group leader for the boys so they can organize what they'd like to include and which songs, etc. Then us girls could all work together.

Haha, not to worry. I got 3 pirates albums and a few other non-disney affliated songs but are actually good disney songs... Hmm one of them does have 1 bad word... Disneyland by Five for Fighting... I could always have a VMK sound going on.

Psychobilly Freakout - The Reverend Horton Heat

The Imperial March - John Williams (as in, the one from Star Wars)

Duel of Fates - John Williams (as in, the song they played in EVERY fight sequence past the first movie.)

The video can be up to 10 minutes, but I am NOT making a 10 minute video. I am letting you choose one song and one song only. I never said it have to be disney related. Shadow has as much a choice to decide as anyone else. You do not make those desicions. If you cannot simply choose a song, bluesomebody and I can quietly work on it ourselves.

How about each of you get the top three songs you like. Share them with the others, and narrow it down to the favourites of all the lists. That way you can all compromise.

Don't worry about your song not getting chosen, because if these turn out well we can work on some more in the spring. Maybe make a little club or committee to put videos together.

If I can suggest YYZ. Not really Disney, but god the lead and bass guitars in that song are awesome (mostly because that's about all they play in the entire song. No words, no profanities, all awesome:cool2: .) Most of the songs from my last list have crazy awesome guitars, so, you know, if you like to jam... :teeth:

MagicalLadee suggested "Clocks" by Coldplay for one of the videos (I think boys), It's a pretty good song, but I'm not sure if it would fit the video.

That is the parade where disney uses the song and makes their own version but the real song sounds quite different.
